Plugin Updates We're continuing to enhance our suite of plugins based on user feedback. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in the works: Long awaited updates for the LP EQ and LP Multiband are almost here. Retooled for modern systems, these plugins provide exceptional sonic transparency for surgical, artifact-free adjustments. The Adaptive Limiter is also getting an overhaul and will be deployed alongside the LPs. This power trio will bring a powerful, mastering-grade toolkit to your mixes, available later in Q4. Soon, you'll see spectrum analyzer overlays integrated into some of our Core effects. This will provide immediate, precise visual feedback right where you need it, making it faster to identify frequency issues and make informed EQ decisions. Early Access Returns! We are reintroducing the Early Access program, which will be available to Next and Sonar users. This will help us gather more pre-release feedback before final deployment. It also reinforces our commitment to transparency and building the future of Sonar together with you. On the Horizon We’re cooking up some other new features that we can’t wait to put in your hands: Soon you'll be able to probe various tap points with integrated signal analysis, helping you visualize your audio's journey in real-time and troubleshoot routing issues with ease and precision. Canva just released Affinity product suite completely free: https://www.affinity.studio/ Has a paid sub for AI related features. Needs a Canva account. Haven't found a good breakdown on what else might be new compared to V2. If you had bought V2, you can still access those purchases / downloads. I'm positively surprised it didn't go full subscription model. I still don't know how I really feel considering distrust against Canva in the long run and if "free" is a ruse for something else. My next attempt at using free AI video generators to make a video for my song. It features some of my neighbors, all but one of which I have had around here (you can guess which one I haven't encountered) in a hopefully entertaining take on Halloween in the high desert. I used Addictive Drums 2, SI bass, some percussion from AAS presets, Kontakt Hybrid Keys, UJAM Sparkle guitar, and used lots of melodyne and various spacious fx. It was interesting just as I was making the many short free video clips, new places to get free ones kept popping up so there is quite a bit of inconsistency in the quality of the free images and videos. They seemed to improve so then I would have to redo an older one at the new site. I could have gone on longer doing that but felt done enough. There seemed to be fewer hellucinations (Halloween pun) this time around which is interesting. Again some made me laugh when I saw what AI created from my prompt or image, so I enjoyed the process. I may replace a few clips in the future but for now wanted to post this and move on to the next thing. Thanks for listening and any feedback, And Happy Halloween! Treesha

Azure service health is good, all BandLabs services have been operational for 12+ hours. Update 4:55 PM ET: Azure services affecting BandLab functionality appear to have been restored in East US. Sign-in and other API services are operational. Hopefully clients in Europe, Asias and other territories will be seeing the same shortly, if not already. Update 3:25 PM ET: Azure service restoration in progress. Some services are restored, but auth requests may still be failing depending on where you are. Microsoft Azure services are experiencing a critical outage, affecting cloud service companies around the world, which unfortunately includes BandLab and sign-in authorization. You can monitor Azure service status here. I'll update this post when we see services are restored. Hopefully not too much longer!
