I only found out that you have to login to your user account for activation! But this is exactly one of the severe problems of all these machine activations, you never know what are the conditions to keep them alive. First, it is very difficult to find out how you have to authorize and how many seats are available. Then you don't know what can cause a fail of those activations (reactivation required after a time, Windows updates, harddisk changes, network adapter enabling/disabling, ...). Also, it is difficult to find out whether you can remove an authorization and use it again (it's a nightmare to setup a new system with machine activations)!
