Fraser Hutchinson
Hi all. I have been using a Korg Kronus as my main controller for a while now. Since earlier this week (around the time I installed the latest upgrade) cakewalk no longer recognizes the MIDI input from my Kronus USB driver. MIDI-OX sees the input as does Reaper. When I enable input echo on a track assigned to the Kronus input, normally the faders display the MIDI input. Nothing displays in Cakewalk. MIDI output works fine. MIDI input is enabled in the device settings. Any ideas on what has happened here? Thanks in advance! bitflipper
What do you see as the input source for the MIDI track? Does it give the name of the USB driver there, or is it set to None? Is the driver listed in the dropdown list of input sources? How about the list of devices in Preferences?
abacab
Did you try uninstalling and re-installing the Korg driver yet?
Byron Dickens
You don't have it plugged into a USB hub, do you?
scook
Could it be a MIDI driver mode issue? If the driver mode is set to UWP, try MME.
