CoveCamper Posted March 23, 2019 Share Posted March 23, 2019 Questions for the SSD Guru's: I just recently started looking into upgrading to a SSD drive as I have a SATA 7200 hard drive, what are the differences in the SATA and the PCIe M.2 SSD drives? Are they that much faster? Last longer, etc.? Is it as simple as installing the PCIe into an available slot, cloning your main OS drive and then changing that SSD in my bios to be the main , C:\ , drive? Also just to make sure I'am not over looking something here is my motherboard. I should have three available slots.
