  1. I don't want to defy this post, but I think Larry that $17.50 for Animation Station deserves its own post. People will snap it up. I also think that because the price is so low to begin with at $37.50, the coupon may not work soon. I bought it as soon as I found out about the coupon. I think it's likely that a $20 off coupon was set up for $99+ products, not $37.50 ones. The one word of caution I would say about this sale is that prices on Sample Logic during Black Friday are super low. That's why I'm waiting for BF to see what the price is then on World AI.
  2. According to a guy on VIC, they offered this package for $19.90 a few months ago. I definitely would have purchased it then had I heard about it. (I try to come here every day but I guess I missed it somehow.) Anyway, this is possibly the same thing and it gets you Concept 2 for a few bucks.
  3. As I usually use over 20 FX in each YouTube video I do, I spend a LOT of time looking for inexpensive effects (and did this video), I think this is the best deal I've ever seen for FX for this kind of high level of FX. There are many deals with sample packs of a handful of sounds, but not 100-300. I can't find these packages on the Krotos site. Maybe they are there or somebody else sells them, but they still are incredible for the price. There are 16 sound packages on many of the top categories, ranging from 100+ to 300 sounds. While I would have loved to see a cartoon effects library, this is still pretty amazing. Picking it up right away.
  4. That's why I have liked the NI business model for sales. You know what the sales are going to be, so you can decide if you want something right away or if you want to wait. And if you do update Komplete each time, then a purchase of Mint for $49.99 can be sold for $49.99,
  5. Ha! But you use Pigments more too!
  6. I wish I liked Sine Player more. I just can't get into it. I'm really okay with Engine and Play--they aren't the greatest, but I can make them work. But the Spitfire Player and Sine... are just not for me. Maybe I will do what I do with Spitfire and Unify this.
  7. The best reason to get this is to use it with PluginGuru's DiscoverStation in UNIFY. And a deep dive from our own @Simeon Amburgey I wanted to put in how much this thing costs but I can't get to the Guru site for some reason.
  8. Sorry, I made a mistake. I meant Total Studio MAX 4.
  9. But I expect it will be included in Sampletank Max 4. EDIT: Total Studio Max 4.
  10. Komplete 13 was released on September 1st, 2020. So, if that happens this year, they've got about six weeks to release more stuff. Although sometimes they add a new instrument at the time of release (like Massive X, even though it wasn't ready) and Symphony Essentials. It would be nice to see one more big library like Lores, Sequis, Piano Colors, Action Strings 2,or even Playbox. But this is a big year for Session Guitarist with three new ones already. And the new Asian library. It's already shaping up to be a worthwhile upgrade in my book. Stuff like this and Deft Lines and 40's drums and keys are not things I would ever buy on their own, but they might be fun once I play with them. I really like Butch Vig drums.
  11. Too bad. We could use another good discounter. Those prices were very good.
  12. 38 euros https://www.orchestraltools.com/store/collections/tallinn/instruments?utm_source=clever-reach&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=singles&utm_content=cta No joke, this was the only thing I wanted from Tallinn. It takes a lot to get me to consider any orchestral library, so it was ridiculous and impractical that I would ever get them. But these are really beautiful. I haven't been buying much since December, but suddenly there are all these little deals I am falling for. I've got this video roughly cued up to where the female choir articulations start.
  13. Also, Larry, while Sweetwater has done a lot of great sales, do you think they have really got into it with this set? You follow them more than me. I always think of Sweetwater as the only place in the world where they will list stuff like Waves products at their original price of $199 or whatever, and then it's up to customers to counter with a better price. So much software is in the catalog at these insane list prices that nobody ever pays. Because they do the catalog it kind of traps them from being on top of the kind of limited time deals beloved on this forum. Perhaps they want to be a competitive online store, a place you look for better prices.
  14. Sheesh NI, you can do better with adding plugins before Komplete 14 drops. This does not make my cup runneth over.
  15. Interesting. There was a 25% off sale on the Audiomodern site up until a few days ago. I just bought their two paid Playbeat Expansions there. It's very weird now that euros and dollars are basically the same price. And today I see there is another free Playbeat 3 expansion, EXEA. https://audiomodern.com/shop/packs/exea-cinematic-electronic-expansion/ I love Audiomodern.
  16. https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/1-Instruments/64-Virtual-Instrument/8341-IDOL Lowest price so far. For those of you making K-Pop.
  17. This is a little off topic, but I've never used Arturia synths much. I enjoy messing around with them, but they never made their way into my finished music. The V Collection appeals to nostalgia for the old days in me. As do so many products they sell to old fogies like me. But Pigments! It's quickly becoming my favorite synth after Omnisphere. I love the presets and I love how easy it is to program. Pigments is all about the music of 2022. I've been experimenting wiht EDM and it is very inspiring. You can put a preset on, pull up a beat and away you go. When the Augmented Strings (full) and Augmented Voices came along, I downloaded the demo. And I've grown to love them too. For the same reasons. I just like the sounds better than the ones in similar two-section libraries, like the ones in Komplete. And when you spend a few minutes looking under the hood at their engines, you see why they sound so big and lush. No doubt that's why they gobble up CPU. These three products are my favorite Arturia synths/libraries now. They have supplanted a lot of other stuff I was using. And to be honest, I have a lot of learning to do. I haven't really scratched the surface. Obviously getting Augmented Strings for $29 was a no-brainer. You can call it an upgrade, but $0 + $29 is $29 in my book. Maybe I should have waited to get the new V Collection for $99, but maybe I'll sit out 2022 on that.
  18. Yes, I figured that out last night and it worked. Thanks @telecode 101 and @abacab
  19. I'm having a problem with NKS. I already had copies of the demos of Augmented Strings and Voices installed. Both of them were available within the Arturia section in Komplete Kontrol. I activated Augmented Strings and it worked fine in Standalone and DAW. But it disappeared from Komplete Kontrol. Augmented Voices is still there. πŸ˜• I've made another customer service request. Usually working with Arturia is easy.
  20. To be clear about this, you click buy and it takes you to a page that says the price is $99. You have to click the button that says "add to cart" and only then do you see the discount. That's what happened after I contacted customer service, but I never tried it before that. Anyway, I bought it. πŸ˜€
  21. I've heard there are a lot of good deals on SSDs during this sale.
  22. I've been using the free demo of this for a while and really like it. Even though I own most of Arturia's software products, I'm not eligible for this deal. I wrote them.
  23. Don’t laugh but this is one of my favorite little Soundiron libraries. Very musical. One of my Pet Sounds.
  24. This is one of the many reasons why this forum is so valuable to me. I would never have found out about this and I really love these new sounds.
  25. All the expansion packs for Playbeat are on the Audiomodern site https://audiomodern.com/playbeat-packs/ So far there are eight free ones (including this) and one paid one--FORM, which is $5. EDIT: Whoops! Actually there are 7 free ones and 2 paid ones--FORM and ORACLE, which are $5 each. I'm very impressed with their business model, giving away all this stuff. Not only the expansions but Panflow, Gatelab and Filterstep--not too shabby. I also like that they sell their entire suite for the iPad. You can play around on there and then transfer the files to your computer. https://apps.apple.com/us/developer/audiomodern/id1435691908
