Not really. For example, the Fender collection, I believe while the Amps may not have been remodeled the cabinets for that collection were. So it's a bit of a half and half.

I liked their stuff in the 70's, but their work in the 80's was too commercial for my tastes.

I think that would remove an important psychological factor. Speaking for myself (obviously) I really like JamPoints and having leftovers just gets me excited about what might be around the corner.
