  1. I've got a fee free credit card, so no PayPal loading for me. I have a credit card that has no surcharge for foreign currency transactions, and which simply applies the MasterCard rate, stored in my PayPal account. I pay with PayPal but use that card in the original currency to make the payment. Saves a lot of money, especially now that PayPal's currency charges are so unreasonable.
  2. $23.36 at thomannmusic https://www.thomannmusic.com/toontrack_ezkeys_classic_electrics.htm
  3. I'd been resisting but couldn't. For $14, I couldn't even be bothered to bother Koby. If you have Gold out of WUP, it is a complete no-brainer, particularly with the new GUIs.
  4. Upgraded Gold to Gold + RenMaxx for $14. Was out of WUP too.
  5. XLN XO All the Samples from Mars Wave Alchemy Synth Drums for £0.55! Novation Circuit Mono Station for £143.99 brand new from Novation! EZ Keys Dream Machine. Groove Monkee Breakbeat MIDI AAS Strum-2 Funky Cat upgrade Waves Berzerk, OneKnob Wetter, AR Saturator, MDMX + one to choose Voltage Modular upgrade to Core & Electro Drums
  6. They never have for me. But I tend to use them the next time there is a buy one, get one free or whatever. Buy a plugin when cheap, wait for prices to double and Waves to move to BOGOF, register plugin, get a freebie, etc.
  7. Agreed but I have nearly all the AR plugins I want and don't see the point of WUP until I need it, which I don't as I am on PC. AR upgrade would be about $100 for me for stuff I'm not interested in. I have Chambers, Plates and Mastering Chain. My general strategy with Waves is that I try never to pay more than $15 per plugin and target is no more than $10, either through bundles, buy one get one free, manufacturer offers, etc. I also tend to leave plugins unregistered to use when Waves changes its promotions, which is one of the benefits of buying through a reseller. Edit: I'll add that there are currently some very decent plugins available for the $29.99 freebie: AR Mastering Chain, AR Vinyl, AR Plates, AR Chambers, F6 EQ, Infected Mushroom Picker, Brauer Motion, Bass Fingers, Butch Vig Vocals, Scheps Parallel Particles, Codex, Flow Motion, etc. rather than the usual old dross.
  8. I don't think you'll get a better strategy than buying it from Koby for $43 like I just did, getting MDMX for free and another $29.99 plugin of my choice.
  9. And a free $29.99 plugin...

    Waves Cyber Sale

One Knob Wetter is also free.

    Waves Cyber Sale

The deal is the new Abbey Road Saturator plus the MDMX Distortion plus a free $29.99 plugin of your choice for a total $49.99. Of course, assume Koby will be cheaper.
  12. Worth it for the Synare disco toms alone...
  13. I'm just loving these samples with XLN XO. What a combination!
  14. Thank you so much to Marc for a code.
  15. Any chance of a spare code by PM? I've had no luck thus far...
  16. If anybody has a spare code for the whole lot, I'd very much appreciate it.
  17. I love Neo Soul Keys but thought it was too much money, especially given the price for new purchasers. The upgrade price should be much cheaper. I won't upgrade at the price. I paid $49.99 for Neo Soul Keys Studio itself.
  18. To be fair, this processor makes the MVS mainframe I used to work on occasionally that held the largest commercial database in Western Europe look crap. That computer was housed and mirrored in two massive buildings and had its own substation. I think it is amazing that something of this power can be run off an ordinary plug and use less power than a vacuum cleaner.
  19. $32.76 with code GROUP at JRR. https://www.jrrshop.com/cherry-audio-voltage-modular-core-upgrade-from-nucleus
  20. If you downloaded the free Voltage Modular Nucleus from Cherry Audio, you can now upgrade to the full Voltage Modular Core + Electro Drums for $39. Other good deals on the Cherry Audio store but this stands out. I've been waiting for this. You need to log in to see the reduced price. Will no doubt be cheaper at discounters. https://store.cherryaudio.com/bundles/voltage-modular-core-electro-drums
  21. Even my Roland JX-3P, which was pretty much the first midi synth alongside the Pro 600, could do velocity via Midi with an EPROM swap. I find the lack of velocity in 2019 unbelievable.
  22. Strum GS-2 +FUNKY CAT Upgrade for Session Series users is $49! That's for me!

    Soundspot Union

We're in a brave new world of sub five quid synthesizers. I'm waiting for the one I get a code for in my Kellogg's Cornflakes. Or maybe Coco Pops for a fatter sound.
  24. I've been very lucky. A large proportion of my Waves plugins are due to lose their WUP in the first few days of November... I'd hate to be a Mac user and reliant on Waves plugins.
