  1. @Noel Borthwick @Morten Saether Gotcha!
Yes, it is caused by character encoding! My text file had been remained saved by S-JIS as the test last time.
Unfortunately, many Japanese people still have the habit of saving text files in S-JIS...
It might be better to mention the UTF-8 encoding in the What's new bug fix section.

    FYI: running Japanese Windows.

@Morten Saether CbB language setting does not seem to affect it. It's okay in both English and Japanese.

    Changes to Delete Track:

    • Delete Track only deletes the focused track if the focused track is not also selected.

What does this mean? "Selected" means that highlighted with clicking track number?
Seems "Delete Track" deletes the focused track even if the track is selected, or not.

When I expand it 400% in MS Paint

@User 905133 FYI: You can expand a posted image with just cliking few times.
After clicking the posted image, move the mouse cursor to the outside of the image and then return it (its a little bit hassle). Now you can see the mouse cursor will change to a magnifying glass (+). At that point, you can click on the image to open it in a new window and enlarge it to its original size with clicking.

  4. Yes, "fully patched" means "up-to-date the Windows".
ARM64 is not needed for desktop PCs, so please install x64 and x86 and then try to reinstall Cakewalk (Just in case, after reboot your PC).

  5. No need multiple instances. If loading KSOP patch, put midi notes of both melody and key-switch on in the PRV of the same instance. You can also use velocity version (VSOP patch).

Download these manuals (_EN.pdf is in English) and sample midi files below and check how to switch articulations.

Note: for use in Cakewalk, you need to shift one octave from Key-switch notation of the manual.
Ex. Sustain Down is "C1" in the manual  =>  "C2" in default setting Cakewalk

  6. @Gary Smith Have you logged into BandLab Assistant with your BandLab account?
If you haven't created BandLab account yet, sign up at https://www.bandlab.com/sign-up

You have to login into BandLab Assistant to download and install Cakewalk by Bandlab. Is there no "Log-In" button? Please post a screenshot what you see now if you can.

Probably overloaded with people trying to get the plugin!

I am also guessing so and hope so, however, I am worried because I remember that Analog Obsession was hacked. 😅

  8. If you want to plug an electric guitar in, had better plug it in to UR22C's input 2 with Hi-Z switch is set to ON. and make sure you've installed latest driver and tools for UR22C. (Maybe requres firmware update too) Then set the ASIO buffer size properly.

I did download latest installer from the site and install it manually. Seems it works.

    @TheSteven
Last month, the license manager did not start (it seemed hanging silently in background), so I tried to reinstall, but I could not find the uninstaller and also the overwrite installation did not work. I had to delete the installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\FXpansion\LicenseManager) to success installation.

    Update Feb 24 2020:

    • Folders with 'VST3' as part of the name ('VST32', etc.) are treated as VST3 folders and fail to scan VST2 plug-ins.

Note: If you installed the Build 26.01.0.28 hotfix prior to February 24, 2020, it did not include the updated VST scanner. To get the latest VST scanner, download it from here , then copy the VstScan.exe file to C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities. Lastly, perform a VST scan in Cakewalk (Edit > Preferences > File - VST Settings).

^^^ This is very important!  Thanks for mentioning @Robert Bone
