  1. 1. Click the top right middle Restore button - This will float the PRV 2. Click PRV window's top left piano key icon and select Dock in MultiDock - PRV is now in the MultiDock 3. Click PRV window's top right middle Maximize button - View should be restored to normal
  2. Probably your WORKSPACE - currently set to "Basic". Set it to "None" or drag the PRV window back to the Multidock and let go of the mouse when it turns blue - then save the current Workspace.
  3. When I select several MIDI tracks and hold Ctrl while changing the Input of one of them, only 1 or 2 of the track inputs actually change. Initially it doesn't work but after changing each selected track individually it will work the next time I do it.
  4. 99% of the time it isn't a plugin - for me. CbB can "crash" (if "crash" means any kind of upset) at will... new empty project, no plugins, no nuthin', CbB will either close on it's own or refuse to reopen when manually closed. It absolutely loves hanging out in Background Processes (where it doesn't belong) when closed improperly, requiring one to either log out of Windows or reboot the system. In this case it seems like a breakdown in communication with host hardware/software.... or something USB related.
  5. Then Windows Update comes along and decides to reset the default to my interface w/o me knowing and I'm resetting things that should be left alone. ?
  6. Confirmed here. Intended or not, I never noticed this before because I always select the input source BEFORE arming the track, which seems to override the aforementioned behavior. I'm not a fan of "automatic selection" from any source.
  7. Yeah, along with other issues, quite often I have to reboot umpteen times to get CbB to send MIDI out to my synth. I've noticed the Taskbar MIDI monitor will freeze up occasionally. I think the system USB is to blame for most these connection issues.
  8. Sign-in link is missing on my phone unless I rotate it landscape. Top links bar is missing either way. Once signed in there's no way to sign out. EDIT: Switching to Desktop site solves those issues. 1. Go to 3 dots at top far right 2. Select Desktop site 3. All links appear
  9. Go to page 806 & 811 of the reference guide PDF for the links above. Section begins on page 799. Link to PDF is at the top of this page at Cakewalk by BandLab > Reference Guide PDF. It will open in your browser where you can also down load it.
  10. 1. Grab bottom of Time Ruler with mouse 2. Stretch Time Ruler down 3. Time Ruler digits get bigger
  11. Yes. If the name is too long to display, CbB abbreviates it to it's own liking making it sometimes "garbled" and not very useful. Track names are meant to be simple labels for quick reference. Perhaps allowing them to expand to 2 lines before the abbreviation affect would be nice.
  12. Interesting. Others have reported it too. It's not 100% of the time but it can even happen when there's no notes being played.
  13. Maybe it just don't like me. Do yours " thump" when stopping? Mine always have.
  14. Maybe not the best option while editing or moving them, tho. ?
  15. @msmcleod 1. Check 2. Check The test project only has AS synth loaded. There's no CC's or MIDI data at the beginning of the bass track, but the instant I hit PLAY it triggers an edit. Odd but apparently normal for AS plugins. Few if any other synths with CC's triggers an edit.
  16. From the Menu: Insert > Soft Synth... > Cakewalk > SI-Drum Kit ???
  17. No automation. If I MUTE the synth, or freeze it, it won't do it. A new project with empty MIDI track won't do it until project is played and transport is stopped manually. Stopping causes Ample instruments to "thump" for some reason, but I use the free versions. Ample settings are the same for both projects. Most other plugins don't behave this way.
  18. I thought I was just me. My current project seems to do the same thing but only by a few milisec. After hours of tightening up several audio clips, others would drift. Then I'd tighten them. The next day another track would go out of sync. Almost like playing the project repeatedly or splitting clips is causing it. Never had this happen before.... maybe on one other project recently, but that's it.
  19. When saved and then played, Ample Bass instantly reverts the project to unsaved status with a "star" in it's name. Is this a feature of Ample plugins or is there a setting adjustment needed?
  20. That GUI was for Guitar Tracks Pro 4 & Sonar Home Studio 7. Not likely you could re-create it to look even close. Too many differences in GUI design.
  21. ... except there's no 32 bit version... if you need one of those. And v4 64 bit won't run on Windows 11. So if you're on Windows 11 and need both, you'll have to choose one or the other.
