  1. I wonder if the license will allow for more than one installation.
  2. The activation had two choices - 3 days for $15 or 12 months for $150 (a 16% discount!) I suspect Sonar will be “pay forever” software. But that’s not in stone yet.
  3. That emoji is not the point of this thread. All is well. Lol
  4. Click the left arrow on the slider below the transport buttons. That's one of many ways to rewind to the start.
  5. Been playing with it. Seems nice but I need to dig into some of the improvements. It generally feels like CbB overall (expected.) I have a couple of overloaded project using Augmented Strings and Voice, TW16x and Emulator on top of a bunch of VSTs. Unless I freeze some tracks it will stutter like crazy. It played smoothly in Sonar but that's anecdotal at best. But it did work!
  6. User 905133 Why confused? Scroll to the bottom of the Sonar page and you'll see DOWNLOAD. Hopefully you can handle it from there.
  7. I noticed I could download the new Sonar from the Cakewalk site. I can't save since I can't activate it but I have loaded projects and started poking around. It's very Interesting - and encouraging. 1. Enhanced display scaling is interesting. 2. Paid for 3 day activation so I could save (not that I need to)
  8. And if anyone does a search for this same question they will have the benefit of AlexBacki adding a solution even if it is a couple of years later. I appreciate that and it keeps the answers in one thread.
  9. If you already have the drums working with a single stereo output and want to send things to individual tracks, add however many instrument tracks you want, rename them, go into EZD and in the mixing, change the output number and then set each tracks input to the matching EZD output you set in the mixer. And be aware that each EZD output is stereo so you will want pick 1+2, 3+4, etc. if you didn’t specify otherwise when you inserted the plug-in. I start will all EZD going to 1+2, then change the BD to 3+4 and add a track. Then snare goes to 4+5 and a new track. That way everything else stays on 1+2 until I split it out. OH to 5+6, HH to 7+8 … Otherwise do what others suggest and set the outputs when you insert EZD. I prefer to send everything to a stereo pair and then split them out as needed since I don’t need or want every instrument on its own track.
  10. I’ve never has a preset do that. Interesting. I certainly learned to not adjust any settings while it’s playing because that WILL do it.
  11. They are pretty responsive but give them a bit.
  12. This will be the first product I’ve own (I got it for free a couple of years back) that I have to stop using it because the company stopped making it. Maybe one where consumables were no longer available but this a first. We stopped making the Corvette so stop driving yours. 😉
  13. I violated the rules by my own assessment and I decided to delete the post.
  14. I do it with a vibrato vst. A bit of work but ok. Some vst respond to the modulation wheel with vibrato.
  15. And you are clicking on the little folder on the right hand side in the pro-channel name window at the top when you hover the mouse cursor over it (window with "Untitled"??
  16. Never noticed that. I click on the header.
  17. Anyone figured out a way to detect when you've left a clip unrendered? I've been using the method of creating a region on a random clip and then seeing if any other clips show up but maybe there is some indicator that I've left a region unrendered. I don't leave them unrendered very often but once I awhile I'll forget.
  18. Wookie - Again, I don't understand where you are getting this but let's agree that I don't need to.
