  1. it shouldn't matter where the vst is installed (c drive, d drive, f, g h, ...) it is also good practice to put your VSTs outside the "program files" folder hive, as that folder hive has extra security which can cause issues (I'm still suprised the main daws still default to this) having said that, breverb does look like the issue - is it an existing poroject or inserting it into a new project?

  7. fwiw, as i understand it, id3 is a mp3-specific thing, but at the same time wav can have any number of extra header info, although it's not standard https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ID3

  9. fwiw, i've had great results for years using asio4all with onboard realtek, but i've never tried the "realtek asio driver" so can't comment on that good luck!

    imho gong are way too underappreciated, but they were a big early thing for me so i'm probably biased
