  1. Samples from Mars - All the Samples for $33.15 with code SNACKS Various other deals across the site
  2. Unfiltered Audio Sandman Pro? Can get it from $29.99 with voucher. https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/products/unfiltered_audio_sandman_pro.html
  3. Thanks ZincT for posting the video. The tuning comments starts at 1:28:25 and yeah, there are some that are very out of tune. Easily fixed but you shouldn't really have to
  4. As above, yes I grabbed it. A lot of content, varying degrees of usefulness depending on the kind of music you play. Quality is fine for what it is.
  5. Darn, I paid about $10 extra from Voxengo direct last night I didn't snooze but I lost anyway!
  6. Grabbed a pack, thanks Lars!
  7. Thanks Zo, I'll have to check out the cleans in Abasi again!
  8. Got the ML5 last night and I'm pretty happy with it. I own a real Mark V and it's in the ballpark. I've only used channel 3 for now but from the demo videos, channel 1 and 2 are great too! Since it's closer to 9 amps in 1 the price (50 euro) is very reasonable!
  9. Yeah, I'm using Granophyre for heavy tones exclusively. For clean/low gain tones Plini is my favourite of the Neurals (I've got Plini, Nolly, Abasi and now Granophyre; Plini is my favourite of the 3 Archetypes). Nolly has a fantastic medium gain Marshall type crunch. Abasi I use more for djenty stuff. But they're all fairly versatile.
  10. I cracked and got Granophyre. Just lost (invested) the last half hour of my life playing it. And another half hour on ML5, which I also cracked and got lol. Both excellent.
  11. I downloaded it and played with it last night. Heaps and heaps of sounds, mostly synths and decent quality. For those who are already synthed up you could take it or leave it. For those who want a wide variety of nice sounds and are happy to work with presets this is worth looking into. I definitely suggest trying a demo first to see if these sounds and for you. Or watch the demo videos/audio. And yes, you're paying for the content rather than the synth.
  12. Kontakt 6 required for a bunch of these.
  13. Agree with Matthew; The Loop Loft, Groove Monkee are two that I've used and the quality is pretty good. Don't forget the MIDIs that come with your chosen drum sampler are often pretty good too. Ugritone as mentioned above is good and you can get cheap deals on them every now and then. And for those writing music in unusual time signatures, OddGrooves is great too. The drumming on those is pretty busy though, which might be good or bad.
  14. Coincidentally I was recording last night and after going through a bunch of different beats I settled on one from this pack.
  15. Toffo

    Izotope R4

Bought it. I'd resisted all else up to now but since this was a "personal" sale I figured it would be rude of me to turn it down.
  16. If the King says it's spelt Karog, it's spelt Karog!
  17. What's the deal with Best Service? Do they email you the keys or is it a physical product (like a box with a key inside it?) Edith: I found my answer. https://www.bestservice.com/shipping_and_payment_options.html "Downloads and licenses are usually delivered immediately after ordering, or registered in your customer account. If a license is not available or out of stock at short notice, or if the administration of the manufacturer requires manual processing (e.g. upgrades, special bundles etc.), we will inform you in the order confirmation. Our support team is automatically notified and takes care of the process immediately (usually within max. 1 working day)."
  18. Agree on the 1:1 Euro to Dollar conversion, and also the seemingly arbitrary way currencies get assigned to customers outside the USA and Europe.
  19. I'm still trying to figure out why I, located in Australia, have my account using Euro and I can't change it
  20. You're right, thanks Matthew. I hadn't checked the Waves site when I posted, and it looks like my memory failed me. I checked now and it looks like there's more in Mercury than what I realised! Maybe in a year or two when compatibility with macOS breaks again I might bite the bullet and move up to Mercury.
  21. I was close to upgrading to Mercury this time around to save on WUP. But there are far too many plugins that I use missing from Mercury. NS-1, some of H-Series (Edit: I was wrong), Abbey Road etc. so in the instead of having an all-in-one pack I end up with a bunch of loose plugins anyway. WUP is mostly for Mac anyway as new versions of macOS keep breaking compatibility. I've never needed a WUP update for Windows.
  22. Microsoft said the "offer" to update Windows 8 free to Windows 10 was supposed to run out years ago, but as we can see it's still working. Will it still work next year? Not sure, but probably. By the way, downloading the ISO now or later won't make a difference. If anything, I'd wait until you're ready to install to download the ISO as that way you'll get the latest version.
  23. Hey Zo, to the best of my knowledge no. You need to upgrade to Windows 10 to take advantage. You can't just claim a new Windows 10 key by giving MS your Windows 8 key.
  24. I wonder if the v12 upgrade also had to do with macOS Big Sur's impending release. They went from 10 to 11 for Catalina, and Big Sur looks like being a fairly major update too.
