  1. Someone please let me know when they update Epic Pinball games (not the hacked versions). I miss those. Hmmmmm. Now that I think about it, maybe I can add that to my "Does anyone use XP these days?" reply (in another thread).
  2. (1) Can we use our own samples [I think they call them Transients]? (2) Is it really 8-part multi-timbral? Thanks.
  3. Well-crafted song on so many levels that all work together.
  4. Among other things, I use my XP SP3 for: a calendar program that includes a variety of functions (Borland's Sidekick 98) to-do/done lists memos and notes [organizer system] that has expanded greatly probably since I started it on Win 98 historical phone numbers/addresses archival files including Cakewalk/Sonar Projects and audio files academic and other documents/research personal/family archives that don't need to clutter newer PCs/storage a slide show screen saver pointed to a folder of family photos a handful of games, some of which I pull out and play several times over the span of a decade occasional audio / midi uses networked to Windows 10 PCs the E-mu PCI card / 1820m + PatchMix DSP system still works quite well some older iConnectMIDI devices allow for connectivity between the XP and Win 10 PCs allows for different work areas across the room, different purposes, etc. no need to move gear among other music tasks, handy for running BPM gear (often more reliable than virtual synths under Win 10)
  5. In case its not obvious, Nobody but me --> Nobody but you
  6. "Can't have too many delays!" So as a fan of delays and as fan of PSPs Voltage Modular Bundle (including their delays), I decided this small form factor plugin would be handy. PACE/ilok took a while because I don't use it much. (Wasn't even installed on my current audio PC.) I was concerned that the change log said MIDI Support was removed, but was please to see that the parameters are available via automation. Not sure why, but mine was $17.99. PS: I just saw that the JRRShop web page has details that I think contradict the 2022 Version History. But who uses XP or Vista as their main audio PC these days. Also, there was a free PianoVerb [not PianoVerb 2] in there.
  7. Yes, and the pant legs need to be 3-5" too short to show off the socks. 😄 So, after over a half-a century, I finally understand why they were called sock hops--to show off the socks!!!
  8. Cool! https://usa.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/8/1208458/p515_en_mr_a0.pdf I would be surprised if no one put in a feature request before since evidently manufacturers are making and selling gear that transmits and responds to note off velocity. I do remember a discussion, but don't recall if it was a feature request.
  9. Well, they brought back earplugs so why not the AM radio, too! 😉
  10. Two bits says @OutrageProductions has it right: CWB refers to *.cwb files [Cakewalk Bundle files] not Cakewalk by Bandlab. FWIW, I just opened a pair of *.cwb demo files (one from 2002 and one from 2011) from Windows. CbB successfully opened all of the tracks. Edit: On second thought, I stand corrected: the OP seems to be trying to open a Cakewalk file by uploading it directly to Bandlab the WebApp.
  11. If you picked this up, check your e-mail for the compatibility notes.
  12. Maybe the next time you can play this and see if they notice.
  13. Looks like the newest version includes a CLAP plug-in!
  14. Not sure if this guy plays the patch you want. Maybe you could ask him what the component sounds are in Dust Wizard so you can try to reconstruct a similar patch in a different synth? I am not familiar with the Korg synth engine, but Pages 94 - 97 (see above) have the ROM Samples/Multisamples. I assume A011 Wizard Dust is a combination of some of those ROM sounds. A011 says "Bell/Mallet/Perc." Also, these people have a set of Korg M50 Presets. Maybe whoever did that set can help. I assume they are familiar with the synth engine and the ROM Samples. https://lfo.store/shop/hardware-synths/korg-m50-myth-soundset-128-presets/
  15. Welcome back. When you look at Menu Bar > Views > Meter/Key, are there key signature changes in the project after that ^^^ point? By "that point" I mean "after a few bars ^^^ .
  16. Correction: Sorry, that's the bulk of side two of Burnt Weeny Sandwich in its entirely. Rather than just delete that in case someone wants to listen to it (it really is a MOI classic), here's just a shorter version of "Little House . . . " as done by the Flo and Eddie version of the MOI:
  17. Thanks for sharing the results of your debugging detective work and your solution!
  18. Both Total Studio 3 SE and Total Studio 3.5 MAX are currently the same price. Comparison. I wonder what kind of an upgrade deal they will get for TOTAL STUDIO 4 MAX. For example, will it be the same as loyal consumers who have Total Studio 3.5? Or is it that MWTM subscribers will only have the Total Studio 3 SE tools while they are subscribed with no upgrade paths to IK tools?
  19. Just an FYI, although the demo mode of the full version has limitations, I was able to play with the parameters with the Advanced panel. That helped me decide that it was worth contacting support about the deal. Fortunately, they came through for me and I am glad I took them up on the offer. I like to drive synth parameters in Voltage Modular and I was pleased to see Arturia makes all the parameters available directly to VM's Plug-In Host module (much like in CbB's automation, I assume). This makes it much easier than plug-ins from other companies where CCs/Parameters need to be assigned in the plug-in first. Not sure this makes a different to you, but for some it might also be a plus. For example, I only have the demo version of Augmented Voices, but I can see, hear, and test (1) about 300 presets and (2) all parameters under Advanced. No need to assign the CCs within the plug-in first. BTW, I have an older PC and I have not found Augmented Strings (full) and Augmented Voices (demo) to be CPU hogs as compared with other plug-ins.
  20. Nice!!!! I still have the 45 of "She's Not There" which my brother (the bassist) got way back when. Tons of great music from them over the years. Lots on YouTube. (Never knew about the Fake Zombies.)
