  1. Maybe it was NI's devious plan to skip M1 support and go straight to M2. Kind of like how people skip versions of Komplete.
  2. $49 for Absynth would be a no brainer for me if I didn't already have it.
  3. If they hold to their past release patterns Komplete 14 is coming out in September/October. Of course with the mergers that may not be a given.
  4. Seriously, how hard is it for people to google to see if there's a product with the same name out there?
  5. It would have been nice to have posted time zone. It's 10:40 AM where I am and the deal is over.
  6. I thought he was among the first to be uploaded.
  7. Version 1.4.1 2022-05-19 MASSIVE X is available as AAX, AU, VST and VST3 Plug-ins in this version. MASSIVE X requires an Intel processor with AVX or an Apple Silicon processor. On Apple Silicon machines, Rosetta 2 must be installed in order to install and use MASSIVE X. The MASSIVE X Factory Library is a separate installation, be sure to install via NATIVE ACCESS. FIXED Reduced the aliasing of the SVF filter in LP4 mode when using feedback FIXED Browser icons displayed incorrectly FIXED Intermittent crashes in Logic KNOWN ISSUE VST3 crashes in Reaper on macOS during scan (but still passes validation) KNOWN ISSUE Host automation parameter names are fixed to "Macro" in Logic and GarageBand on Apple Silicon computers KNOWN ISSUE Intermittent crashes when used with Mainstage
  8. It seems like they cut it in half, which is a great improvement.
  9. It looks like I was scrolling past that thread to find this one. Still doesn't invalidate my point that they are spending more time on installer updates than product updates for my liking.
  10. Now we are at 2.0.3 If I'm not forgetting something that's four of the last five updates are to the installer. Are we sure Max Martin isn't part of the new umbrella company?
  11. How does this compare to the Cymatics plugin?
  12. It is an issue for me as well. Even worse, though, I haven't seen that you can add tags to your own presets. If I'm looking for a pad, I want to see all pads, including my own and the ones I have downloaded.
  13. I saw on the NI forum this week one of the mods saying that this change would be coming soon. I wasn't expecting it to be that soon.
  14. So do I go for this or wait for the GB in the fall?
  15. Crystal, which is free, has something called patch breeding where you can have it randomly combine elements based off two different patches.
  16. I tried it briefly and thought it was a little noisy on the low end. But it does create some decent random sounds and the patches are good. If you come up with something you like you could try to rewrite into other synths.
  17. It looks like a great idea but poorly executed. "Look at that water. Super Mario Kart has better water than that"
  18. The last couple of updates I have seen from them have been to their installer. Are they turning into XLN audio?
  19. They are also giving away 3GB of samples in a sample pack called Orchid, as well as having a track making contest using those samples.
  20. Disabling animations cut CPU usage by 15-25% in standalone for me. I haven't done a compare of VST yet.
  21. This sounds really nice. It goes beyond simply string sounds. However, I have been seeing some of the pads go over 55% CPU on my machine.
