@Jim Fogle I think he is referring to the way he had done this in the past by bringing light to the pros and cons to those. He pretty much does say the video is only pro. It's literally the only way to do this in the DAW at the moment. You can also pretty much leave the compressor on the Bus. I just prefer the direct approach to this.

Great stuff Noel. Is it really necessary for tracks though? I mean sidechain with tracks serves a different purpose. It's double the work for you and an unnecessary feature. Only do this for Aux tracks. They're more flexible than Buses. ☺

Excellent on the new 99build. Is it possible to make the menus dark as it was with the soft synth menu in the 98 build. Obviously the original look is fine. My complaint was just from being on the dark menu going suddenly into the white menu that caused that eye blurriness and sharp sting feeling yesterday. The dullness was soothing to the eye - especially if your studio has that dark vibe. Sorry for all this troubles.

Noel there's absolutely no reason to break your head over this. ☺I know im making this sound easy: The solution to you're answer above is because Aux tracks are not included in the Export or Bounce menus. Its only tracks and buses - that's why inhouse bounce on Aux tracks are not possible.

Technically you don't have to move the plugin from the bus channel. All you need to remember is to tick the BusFX box in Mix Enables on the Bounce to Track window. The reason why I chose both little boxes was because it's a habit seeing that I always have an extra compressor and EQ after the sidechain compressor. Experiment with this until you mastered the technique. Play it loud.

Hey GreenLight. Are you asking how to export individual sidechain tracks?

This grey'ish-white color kind of mess with your eyes or its the brightness of the new blue highlighter thats popping out the white background more - this never used to happen before. Can also be because I was swapping between the Soft Synth black menu and the Audio FX regular window a few times. My eyes feel kinda blurry right now and I've got excellent vision. Yep! I'm definitely going to have to move away from this for a few seconds.

Another great update. This makes rendering stems so much easier within the export windows. We've asked for names to follow clips and tracks on export and you went beyond what was asked, by adding all required copyright tags needed from within the DAW all from one window. Great Job! I mainly use num keys on the right of my keyboard to nudge or Ctrl+2 and 8 | OR |Shift+2 or 8 (to move things Up and Down) you can also use the directional keys for these. So maybe during a workflow - you''ve accidentally hit one of these unknowingly?

Few comes to mind. The common one would be the Num key 2. Then there are the default shortcut keys. Make sure you dont have any custom key bind to any of these.

Is this solved yet? Lookig at this: it seems you still have the voices solo'd when you playback the bounced track with the recorded clips. This sometimes creates a latency issue in playback until you stop the plackback, mute all other tracks - and only listening to the bounced track.

Do the cut, right click on the clip and scroll up to "Bounce to Clip."

Go to Preferences / Keyboard Shortcuts. In the next windows locate the search box and type in reverse or reverse clip and create your desired shortcut key. Or Go to Process >> Apply Effect and Reverse. ☺

32x isn't really needed you know. An oversampling setting of 4x is pretty much all you need.

Too lazy to search now: but, I think this was a user request to have less nodes when recording automation. Cakewalk used to record and display nodes on every movement of the envelope. Everybody anyhow uses plugins these days for a perfect vibrato. There's really great free Tremelo effect plugins on there that you can use with only 4 nodes on every region its used on. That's why every vibrato you hear in a track sounds so perfect. It's either done with an editor like melodyne or with a tremelo vst plugin on Audio Tracks and of course the modulation wheel of a midi keyboard. I hear and understand your argument though.
