I'll second Wookiee's evaluation. Genre's are tough for me, but dance and edm for this one? but as I am an admitted aging rocker, wtf do I know... tom
  2. I'll just second that, but add you're being a bit hard on yourself... t

I'd add a little silence before the intro (sometimes I wonder if the hosts are truncating the files, I know iTunes seems to do this on my wife's iphone, but generally its at the end). Finally got there, boy that's a "button tite" ending, pretty sure not what you wanted! Bring up the sax a bit; just me... The "ping pong", on the electric piano chords is a bit strong VKFX? (reminds me of my first listen to the Stand Up album; I was watching the guitars pan back and forth; it was the late 60's, what can I say...) No cigar for me, and make mine Vodka (a double; Goose works) Gran Marnier on the side please... t what time do we go on? Maybe the opening act would like to play another 30 minutes? No honey, I don't need another; but i will keep the ice, leave the glass... thank you
  4. Much improved I think! t still EZB on this, or did you revert to the Scarbee?
  5. You had to make me look, and now its something I can never unsee... Not the knockers, not even the "buns", its the g-string; argggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg
  6. Buy an ES-339, its a scaled down 335. If the original 335's had been this size, LP sales would have withered and died (this from a Les Paul guy, I've owned many of them 50's gold top's and customs right on thru to the "We finally got it right" Brazilian board 2003's). Have several PRS's including an HB-II; not a bad choice either... tom

I'm still trying to put my finger on who Allan reminds me of, that's as good as any... 👍 t I'm confused too Sabby....
  8. I'm not hearing the distortion, but clearly there are some overs in the Youlean analysis. Like the tune, so 👍's on that! Just a word about mp3 conversion, I find I have to keep the Master at -1dB or I get overs on the conversion (or direct export). I always bring the exported mp3 back in the project and confirm I don't have any overs. YMMV t I can confirm that Izotope Insight agrees with the Youlean analysis. As far as crits, I covered that when you put the tune up originally; solid tune. 😉 Would I mix it differently, yup; would it be "better", nope...
  9. No need to apologize! 👍's t the snare's a bit bright for my taste, its an electronic kit?
  10. I'm throwing a like on this for sure! What are you using for the bass? t

    Angels

👍's up from me Mark! I agree, but that's the crit from me... t
  12. Or bring it up on the piano and kit? Beautiful tune Gary 👍 I'll hold the "like" for the final mix... t
  13. My only crit Jesse is the guitar is way back in the room, if I was mixing I'd bring it more up front. I'd probably put the drums and bass in the same space as the guitar a bit. Otherwise 👍's t
  14. I still have the Gold Limited Edition and foot board in the closet... t
  15. Its not that I doubted it would go to 750, I just wanted to be sure I really needed/wanted (lets be honest, most of us don't need any more plugs!) wanted ModoBass/Drums and the B3. The demos have me convinced I'll use all three (wish I had demoed EZBass; don't you?) I have a sequence for Black Magic Woman (from somewhere) and to be honest, I sounds pretty damn fine! So I'm off to run it up to 751 762. I have ST3 (never a goto for me) so if I get ST4; fine and dandy, if I don't, BFD.... tom

    Touch

You will not be disappointed! t
  17. Isn't it ironic? (am I using that right?) 👍 t and I thought you had posted 2 singles... 😉
  18. Is that an "effect" or the mic/signal chain? I'm agreeing there. That single note guitar gets to walking on the vocal a bit for my taste; but your song, your production. And in the chorus all I hear is background vocals, for me, one of the voice needs to lead. but again; as above, ys/yp. Fine piece of singer/songwriter work here. So 👍's on that. tom
  19. More great Kirby from ya Doug. A tiny crit, I'd put a high pass on the acoustic; that and the bass are creating a bit of mud in the low mids. I'd roll it up until the acoustic is well defined and the bass is free to breath; just my nickel98, take it with a grain of salt. That's part of the Kirby sound... 😉 👍 t
  20. Well put! As always Jesse, ever the fan... t
  21. Well done Barry! I was on the bike (stationary bicycle) dropped my cadence and increased the resistance; a good workout. 👍 t

    Rowan's Ship

I must agree. If I may, I would suggest just a bit of live playing would make this very solid indeed. 👍 t
  23. The furry paws have been busy! Enjoyed! Are you "bonding" with EZBass? I'm thinking I might prefer MODO (bear in mind Trilian is my goto...) 👍 t
