  5. I'll echo all the above; one exception, the kick is pretty "hot" on the DT990's here. As always great songwriting and performances t
  6. “I heard it on the X”, on a crappy 9 volt transistor radio. Its the message, not the medium.

    Hear my call

There's some angst in this alright... t
  12. Diana I've been causally following your thread (disappointed no M-Audio users have chimed in). Does the interface have its own mixer app? (I'll do a little research, downloaded the manual and it does not look like it) I'm an RME user, and TotalMix (RME's internal app) controls routing in the interface. Its tremendously powerful, but a bit confusing/overwhelming at first use. Others have mentioned this, but somehow you have to hearing phase issues on the stereo tracks. Sounds like its playing back from Cakewalk and the Interface, which could explain why the "blend" knob isn't working correctly. (if the TotalMix is setup wrong I could do this with my RME interfaces) You in the States? t

I've commented on your sexy sax player numerous times. is absolutely f'ing amazing (I think I've mentioned that before once or twice). Love that "button tight" finale! t Oh, and I would be remiss if I did not mention, once again, you knocked it out of the park with your guitar playing....
  14. Re-mix is up and my "like" has been tallied... ?'s t
  15. Short and sweet! I kind of see it as a cue. VO on the front and then out as the organ comes in... t

    Moonlit

On the DT990 phones here that snare is a bit "crisp", I can imagine @garybrun's Focals really enhance that, as would the Adams in my studio. Nice guitar work... t I'll hold a "like" for the finished mix

As always superior guitar chops! Who played the Hammond? Diggin' the sax now... Your bass lines never get the attention they should. ?'s what chord is the piano playing, I should know right off, that little "discordant" one, right can? t
  20. Wish there was an icon for hands clapping (maybe there is?). Some garage band blues, and I love it! and I mean the many garage bands I woodsheded in cutting my teeth, not Garage Band. (hope you take that as the compliment it was meant to be) t always love a "nod" to my Chicago heroes, Willie and Muddy. Willie said "I am the Blues" , and he was right. right on! my brother, right on!
  21. "The times make the man t, the man does not make the times" my father loved to quote this. Occasionally great men do come along that at the very least significantly effect the times. RIP Abraham, Martin, Bobby and John. this is a better world for you having graced us with your presence... t If I have a crit, its the mellotron? voices need a little reverb (maybe a lot). @jack c. I wasn't clear, the synths (that I thought sounded like a mellotron voice patch), need a little reverb. The vocal (spoken words) is fine.
