  1. From my quick searches it appears that Artist version does not contain Pipeline XT.,
  2. Just a thought, make sure the measures that sound "louder" don't have duplicated notes/clips on them. Delete a note and see if there is one underneath it or expand the take lanes to make sure two clips are not on top of eachother.
  3. By "Drum Map" do you mean the drum view in the piano roll view rather then the normal piano roll view where the note lengths are shown? Or are wanting help with "drum Maps" which is a related, but, different thing?
  4. You should be able to set a loop around your punch point. You can start the loop several measures before the punch point. Then either let it loop and make several takes or stop it before the loop and the now time should return to the loop start.
  5. You can just drag select across the audio clip you want to copy, hold cntl and drag down to the desired track. Of course, this is just one way. similar thread. https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/topic/4064-easy-way-to-copypaste-audio-snippets/
  6. I don't know if they are the same problem you are facing but here are a couple of related forum posts. Some of the pro channel modules are not installed with the default installation and came from either separate purchases or were released at different times. Does it do this with all pro channel modules? For example. The Concrete limiter is located here for me. "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal\ProChannelConcreteLimiter\ProChannelConcreteLimiter_64.dll" And the others are in the same directory C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Utilities\Internal. Make sure you see the dll files in those directories and then go into the VST manager and reset and rescan. http://forum.cakewalk.com/Pro-Channel-Not-Working-m2199240.aspx
  7. You can drag the detection created from Drum Replacer onto a midi track and then use whatever drum VSTI you want to trigger with those midi notes. https://noelborthwick.com/cakewalk/2015/08/04/using-cakewalk-drum-replacer-the-right-way-and-the-other-way-2/ Other options include using Melodyne's audio to midi conversion to do something similiar
  8. You going to have to give a bit more information. What does it do when you try to save? Do you get an error message of some sort? How are you trying to save? (File->Save, File->Save As etc.) The documentation provides some good getting started tutorial and there are many getting started videos that could help you. https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Beginners.01.html
  9. Do you have lots of controller data showing or many take lanes with small clips? Two places I look to when things get slow to scroll.
  10. Send a crash dump to Support@wavetronix.com. Most likely it is a problem with the plug-in and you will have to send Native Instruments the crash dump as well.
  11. Someone posted a link to it earlier this month. I looked at it but did not install it. It seems to just check if the plugins are using network communications back to their home servers. I am not too worried about that.
  12. Have you tried to "pin" the window? Or tried the "recycle plugin windows" settings? https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Dialogs2.064.html
  13. https://gaga.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=AudioPerformance.05.html According to the documentation the sample rate of imported files is converted to the project sample rate. It appears that you can have files with different bit depths in the project, but there is a setting to set the bit depth of imported audio http://gaga.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=AudioPerformance.06.html http://gaga.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=AudioPerformance.09.html If your project is at 16/44.1K then I would export directly to 24 bits. Internally Cakewalk is using 32 or 64 bit floats. So if it converts the floats to 16 bit and then exports to 24 then it doesn't matter the order you export in. If it goes directly from the float to 24 then a direct export to 24 bits would be recommended.
  14. Have you marked the audio clips as groove clips or done audio snap on the audio? Audio files don't automatically follow tempo changes unless you have marked them as being groove clips. At least that is my experience. You can also use "Audio Snap" on an audio file to follow tempo. Here is a forum thread about a similar issue.
  15. This might help explain. https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Recording.38.html
  16. You should be able to do what you want with automation lanes. You can also use the Controller pane, as you noted, but it can be harder to draw precise curves. https://gaga.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=Automation.09.html You can also use the pattern tools to draw repetitive paterns https://gaga.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X3&language=3&help=Tools.13.html
  17. You could try a complete uninstall, go through the registry and remove all references to Sonar. Then try to re-install. It could also just be that you need to re-install the C++ runtime libraries for your version of Platinum. Or contact support at Support@cakewalk.com
  18. Strange that it is only that instrument. Could your Sampltron2 have been de-authorized? I had a similiar issue with a VSTi that was not authorized. Maybe the samples got moved and it can't find them?
  19. Using the smart tool (star) you swipe across the take or portion of the take that you want. You can also mute and solo whole take lanes as you show in your picture.
  20. Some people have recommended Windows Junctions. Generally the program and support files need to be on the C drive with the rest of the Program Data but content can be installed or moved to other drives.
