600 watts. Seems that it was an amp they built back in the 80's for promotional reasons. They have fixed it up and will be at NAMM this year. The cab weighs 800lbs!!! OMG!!!

That's one hellava an amp!! Damn man!! Wonder how much power that amp was putting out to drive those 32 speakers?
  5. Has anyone done any recording with one of these? I have one already that I got on sale a while back. But have never taken it out the box.

    Computer is down!

LOL!!! You may be right about that one!!
  7. Nope. Nothing. I'd hang to it for a little while Larry. Something unforeseen may have happened, that maybe why he's not got back to any of us.
  8. I was thinking the same thing.

Yes this is very true. Just to be clear here, I ask Larry a question. He gave an answer. It was in no way meant to suggest that AMD is an inferior product. Glad we got that cleared up.

    Computer is down!

That's because of supply/demand!! The demand is real high!! @mibby That ought to tell you all ya need to know!! : )

    Computer is down!

I wouldn't worry either mibby. AMD are solid choices. Getting better all the time too!! I have an older AMD that was released back in 2013 in my home PC. They are different beasts today!! The reason I asked Larry if he had an AMD was because I have three computers, all with Win 10 and the only one I ever had the problem with was the AMD. And I never figured out what happened. So when Larry had the same issue, my troubleshooting kicked in so I asked about the AMD. I could have even asked him if he was using a Samsung EVO SSD. I also thought it might be the Samsung SSD I am using for the system drive. And when it happened, I could not use the Win 10 repair tools to fix it either. The more Larry tells about it, the more it sounds exactly what happened to me. The funny thing is it stopped happening. But based on what I was able to figure out, I still think it has something to do with Win10 and it's updates. Something just wasn't right about it that caused the master boot record to go ka-poot!!

To be honest Larry, I never did come up with the culprit, other than Win 10 updates. Because now the same computer has been rock solid for over a year now!! AMD FX 6300.

    Computer is down!

Had that happen to me before. Any chance your using a AMD CPU/MB?
  14. And with that version you get two full sets with quite a few variations of those sets. ED2 Modern with 18 variations ED2 Vintage with 15 variations
  15. Agreed. And that's part of why I installed all that stuff. But after getting it installed, imported, and working I now realized there is a better way. If IK could/would combine all the sample libraries of ST2.5 into one install, then there would be no reason not to install them. As it stands, I really ain't going to go through that PITA installation again. : )
  16. None. But I did find this on XLN website: Addictive Drums 2.1.14 (December 12th, 2020) Big Sur compatibility - Addictive Drums 2 is now supported in macOS Big Sur
  17. I sent a PM to him the other day. Still no reply. Hope he is alright.
  18. Definitely. It says it's free... comes with other products as a promotion. So how are they selling it? Where did JRR get these serials from?
  19. I sent him a PM also and have not heard back from him.
  20. We have often talked about IK's Marketing Dept decsions. How these guys still have a job.... But I do like the software. And I do have some of their hardware too. I haven't even counted how many Amplitubes I have, or Sample Tanks, or T-Racks.
  21. Just went through a few of the ST2 sounds in ST4. They are not bad. I would say with the right fx they would do. To be honest, I think these sounds have passed their prime. They are more trouble to install than they are worth. Let me put it this way, I won't be installing them anymore. If something happens and I have to reinstall ST3 and ST4, ST2 libraries will not be included. What sounds are in ST2 I have other replacements they would serve me better. And MUCH EASIER TO INSTALL!! That said, if your still working with ST2 and a minimum PC, this is a good deal.
