  1. Lots of info at Steinberg's YT & at their forum. here's one example- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VH1tWdTddE4 I use Sonarworks Ref. 4 in Control Room so I never need to turn it off when rendering.
  2. I have $25 Personal Voucher if you want it.
  3. It's working fine so far here, Core 13 improves it quite a bit. This is a free update from the original released a few years ago & now includes the 4 newly added modules besides the comp. Your personal discount code will work on the intro price too, one could pick it up for €59.50. I'm going to check out the reverb module next, I'm not familiar with the Fairchild 658 Reverbertron, might be nice on guitars.
  4. Acustica Ultramarine4 Early Access Retail:€299 Early Offer: €119 Ultramarine4's compressor is based on what is arguably the most iconic of all dynamics processors. Rightfully described as the "World Accepted Standard For Level Control" in the '50s, it is today one of the most revered studio processors ever. The original machine can cost up to $20,000 or more on the second-hand market - for one in good condition - and the extra costs of maintenance should also be taken into account. The sound of this impressive machine is defined by its short attack response and long release times, letting you keep transients under control and yet giving the body of the track a sweet massage. Equally at home in audio mastering studios as well as radio broadcast facilities, only about 1000 of them were sold and they are getting harder find in a good operating condition. Over the years, many clones and emulations - both hardware and software - have been created striving to perfectly capture the unmistakable character of this behemoth comp/limiter. And many of them certainly sound good. But we think that no approach can beat the actual sampling of the unit in order to match the sonic elegance of such a marvellous piece of engineering. Included: Ultramarine4 A-70 (standalone Mid-Side Stereo Compressor) Ultramarine4 A-27 EQ (standalone Variable Tube Equalizer) Ultramarine4 A-64 EQ (standalone 3-Band Passive Equalizer) Ultramarine4 A-58 Reverb (standalone Reverb module) Ultramarine4 Channel-strip (Channel strip that includes some of the previous cited standalone plugins) *Early-access / Crazy-access pricings are introductory, time-limited discount periods during which the plugin maybe subject to further refinements and minor updates, for better performance and extended compatibility. All updates and bugfixes will be available inside Aquarius under the 'Updates' section. http://www.acustica-audio.com/store/products/ultramarine
  5. Thanks Douglas. I got the track in the form of bass & drums only. The person who mixed it flew in different tracks editing sections. The narration came after it was completed & added for the video.
  6. Extended introductory offer through May 23, 2019. Get Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 for only €145, including our new Epic Orchestra 2.0 and a host of new features. The upgrade price from any prior versions to Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 is currently €75 for the first license.
  7. Shown at the "Sonic Faces" culture festival in Esch Alzette in December 2002. Internet collab music track circa 2000 with the band LUXUS.
  8. First of all & most important believe in your music or no-one else will. If you feel that nobody will be interested in paying for your music then the downside with using Distrokid would be that they charge a yearly fee. I'd also be less concerned about the technical side of things & let the music speak for itself. The music business is still about marketing & fan base but you never know who might be listening. Here's some general info on DK & other distro services: https://aristake.com/post/cd-baby-tunecore-ditto-mondotunes-zimbalam-or
  9. VSL more traditional classical composition but keep in mind it gets expensive. The basic libraries are good but just that, you probably already have those types covered with KH. If you have the budget to expand you might consider VSL. Albion is a solid buy at 1/2 off. It sounds great but it takes tweaking to place it along with other libraries because of it's baked reverb. Very nice for classical, symphonic or pads & backing arrangements in modern music. I like them both, usually layering them along with others. Budget, investment & time involved would be the major factors I'd consider.
  10. I found it inconsistent & buggy. At times it would over compensate adjusting bands, probably due to the algorithm it's based on. Would cause more phase problems than solved, maybe because it doesn't calculate fast enough like Gullfoss (300 times a second) You have to be careful using this kind of AI software with audio in general.
  11. If you're looking for that type of auto eq plugin you should look into Soundtheory's Gullfoss.
  12. It's the one I'd want if I didn't already have it. It doesn't get heavily discounted because it was developed by Acustica, endorsed by D.W. Fearn & part of their contractual agreement.
  13. Also personal discount codes will work in addition to the sale price at checkout except for Ruby & 3rd party programs for N4.

  16. Did the guitar tracks with Sonar 6 on this tune by the band LUXUS. The cd was was free to download & distribute.
  17. It's not so much about being a free plugin there's just many niggles when using Acustica plugins. I've had similar issues since they introduced their VST3 versions (likely due to JUCE framework) & only install VST2. For me there's no real gain since I don't believe SC is supported yet (need to use something like Metaplugin) plus they don't have the ability to suspend operation or save cpu when the plugins are bypassed. It has to do with their tech. Re-installing the plugin is a typical answer from their support which can solve various issues like missing SR's or other weird behaviors. There's also a major confirmed authorization bug when using their Acqua libraries for N4 (SoundDrops, DiBiQuadro, London Acoustics) in Sonar/ CbB.
  18. A few more updates, current Version: 1.0.6 Changes since 1.0.5: Improved sound in Ping Pong Style with low values of feedback Changes since 1.0.3v2: VST3 now shows up w/proper channel configurations in Reaper, Bitwig, Cubase 10, Studio One, FL Studio VST3 feedback no longer cuts off after 12 seconds when playing 1-shot sample in Cubase Much lower memory footprint for the plugin. I’ve basically cut it in half, if not more Fixed bug introduced in 1.0.4v4 beta, where VST 2.4 was mono

  20. updated to 1.0.3- Reduced feedback noise in BBD mode. For minimum noise, turn Age down to 0%. We've seen a 50 dB improvement in the noise floor, compared to the 1.0.1 version. Fixed bug in VST3 / Cubase 10 with loading presets New Windows installer, with improved default VST 2.4 installation locations, and the ability to select VST3 installation location. If you've already purchased ValhallaDelay, just log into your user account and grab the 1.0.3v2 installers. New purchasers get the 1.0.3 installers by default. The demo links have been updated to 1.0.3 as well.
  21. Gullfoss is pretty amazing, if you already have it you might not need or want Soothe. I bought Soothe first before Gullfoss was released but I'm not disappointed. Sometimes Soothe gets me better results over Gullfoss. Soothe is dynamic EQ focused on mid to high frequencies. I usually prefer using that on tracks for de-essing, taming brass, horns, guitars. Gullfoss gets used more on the 2 bus or mastering but also on certain instruments tracks or stems. On mixes it's usually barely moving making very fine adjustments. Sometimes neither work & I'll reach for another plugin type altogether! YMMV
  22. No, you said "In this day and age, $100 for a single normal effect plug-in is way over priced." That's only your opinion & I disagree totally.
  23. Soothe's an excellent plugin. I use that along with or in place of Gullfoss, ( which also is on sale for $99.00)
