  1. Wait, I guess you guys can't answer any questions because of the "Agreement" you made with Bandlab. Who can we ask, Bandlab? I know Noel is usually out here after a release. Should we wait for him? Kind regards, tecknot P.S. Did you guys (beta testers) have to sign an agreement with Bandlab?
  2. Next question... Do you have to be online to use SONAR? Kind regards, tecknot
  3. I am considering a dive into the new SONAR just for keeping up to date. However, I have a question for the beta testers: Is there a significant feature(s) or update (other than fixes) that make SONAR standout from CbB? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, tecknot
  4. Hi @Promidi, Thanks for getting back to me and sorry for the long delay. I was able to reinstall the modified driver after I turned off the driver signature enforcement (and Secure Boot). I really appreciate your help! Kind regards, tecknot
  5. Hi @Promidi, I was wondering if you have your PCR working in Windows 22H2. My does not in the latest build. I have tried to reinstall the modified driver, but it won't install (after doing an uninstall). I am screwed cause I can't get my PCR 300 working at all in Cakewalk. Thanks in advance. Kind regards, tecknot
  6. Hi Simon, It really comes down to adjusting your buffer settings both in CbB and your audio interface. Also make sure that your audio sample rate and bit depth match all around (CbB, audio interface and Windows). Kind regards, tecknot
  7. Hi Carmen and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. I am not familiar with your foot-pedal controller (and I haven't read its manual), but if you could change the channel on which your foot pedal transmits MIDI, that's what I would look to. Unless you are asking about how to change the input channel in Cakewalk you can change the channel here (in red): Kind regards, tecknot
  8. Hi Vincent and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Have you done a VST scan? Do they show up in the plugin manager? Kind regards, tecknot
  9. Hi Istvan, I think I found a solution to your dilemma. At the time of inserting Synthmaster into your project, choose MIDI Source and First Synth Audio Out along with checking the Enable MIDI Output box: In the synth property page, click on ARP/SEQ tab and click the MIDI Output option to On (circled in yellow): You can close the synth propery page now. Then Insert a MIDI track into your project. In the Input of the MIDI track, select All inputs: Make sure you click on Input Echo in the Synthmaster MIDI track, Arm both MIDI tracks and you should be good to go. Let me know if you have any difficulty. Kind regards, tecknot
  10. You can find this setting from the Control Panel then to Sound, then the Play Back tab and click on Speaker/HP and there you click on the Advance tab. Under "Default Format" you can make a selection on the drop down list shown in red below: Kind regards, tecknot
  11. Thanks, Patrick. Just pulled the lever on this one too. Kind regards, tecknot
  12. Is this the ultimate interface? It's seems to cover everything as complex/complicated as it is. I never seen so many inputs on an audio interface. It has so many conveniences, I can't believe it. Someone tell me, is there a more comprehensive interface? Forgot to mention, for the price of $1499, it's a real deal! I thought, at first glance, it would be $1600. But that estimation went up quickly as I watched the promo video. Kind regards, tecknot
  13. I would suggest using the Matrix View. You can drag and drop as many loops as you want into the cells and play them back one or many or all. It's pretty cool, I guess. Kind regards, tecknot
  14. Hi euan and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Make sure you have Input Echo on (on any MIDI track). Kind regards, tecknot
  15. Boy did I misread this one. Sorry for the erroneous response and thanks for not dinging me guys. Kind regards, tecknot
  16. Hi Stafford and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. No need to pay for this kind of help. You can simply pull any audio tracks from the Audio folder saved in the project folder. If you have MIDI files, you can bounce each track individually (https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Mixing.46.html#1098466) and then pull those audio files for the Audio folder. Of course you can pay me a small gratuity for the above instructions/suggestion. Kind regards, tecknot
  17. Hi Bnemo and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. You can simply delete the project (and associated audio files) in the (Windows) File Explorer. Kind regards, tecknot
  18. And I thought CW was not going to update this last release. Kind regards, tecknot

  21. Hi Richard, The template files can be found in "C:\Cakewalk Content\Cakewalk Core." Kind regards, tecknot
  22. Hi Sven, This is the perfect example where in a project template would come in very handy. Since you already know what synths you want to add and all the channels can be setup in the template, it's an ideal situation, particularly if you want simple and fast. Preparation saves a lot in the execution. Kind regards, tecknot

    How to Copy Paste Track

Hi alan933, I suggest using Paste Special. This way you can put the copied clip exactly where you want it (along with a number of other options). Kind regards, tecknot
  24. Hi Flubb and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Just one thing I can think of, what output is your Master buss set to? It should be set to your sound card/audio interface. After changing driver mode can change to the Master output (to none). Kind regards, tecknot
  25. Hi Bridget, I am not sure that the Cakewalk forums are for you. These forums center on music production (software) where as your interest seem to be on playing acoustic instruments. I wish I had an appropriate link for you, but the instruments you mentioned are out of my field of "expertise". Kind regards, tecknot
