  1. Try disabling the internal sound card prior to starting Cakewalk and see if that resolves your problem. Kind regards, tecknot
  2. I agree with John. If scook's suggestion of using the menus for a new project doesn't work for you, then perhaps the pre-saved templates or projects Kurre suggested will work for you. Seems like a good idea to me. Kind regards, tecknot
  3. Hi HappyRon, I would try reinstalling the driver for your Realtek card. Kind regards, tecknot
  4. Hi tdehan, Do you have an internal sound card active on your system such as a Realtek card? Kind regards tecknot
  5. Hi Kurt, I would suggest that you completely uninstall Cakewalk (including deleting Registry entries) and then do a reinstall. Kind regards, tecknot
  6. Hi everyone, Magix is selling Sam Pro X5 suite with SF Pro 13 and FXpansion's Cypher2 for only $249. Kind regards, tecknot
  7. Happy New Year, John. Never seen this, sorry. Is it possible you have screen/scroll lock (or something like that) on? Kind regards, tecknot
  8. Hi Sound UnLimited and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Try checking your Workspaces and put it on none. Kind regards, tecknot
  9. Might you have both VST 2 and VST 3 versions installed?
  10. Gee 4th Eden, I have never used a webcam to capture video from my screen. I have used software specifically for the purpose. Kind regards, tecknot
  11. Hi Devon and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Have you installed the latest driver for your Solo interface? I suspect that your interface's driver is not installed properly. Kind regards, tecknot
  12. Hi gaymushroomgirl and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Unfortunately, the Realtek sound cards do not play well with Cakewalk. Being that CbB (Cakewalk by Bandlab) is professional recording/mixing software, it works best with an audio interface with a well written audio driver. With that being said, what audio driver mode do you have CbB set at? There are a few other questions to answer such as, what it your buffer setting, how much memory does your PC have? etc. Having your PC specs and help us narrowed down the problem. Kind regards, tecknot
  13. Hi John, Perhaps a Screenset will come in handy in your instance. I have a Screenset with the PRV showing the velocity layers only in the Controller Pane. I don't think you can show velocity with the inline PRV (TV) in a separate pane. That is, they will either show on top of the MIDI data or not at all. Kind regards, tecknot
  14. Hi PopStarWannabe, Absolutely! Those Cakewalk/SONAR synth are excellent compared to other 3rd party synths. It's just a matter of your creativety. Kind regards, tecknot
  15. Hi Clifford, Unfortunately, not all the plug-ins that were a part of SONAR were not included the Gibson/Bandlab deal. The only way to get those plug-ins is to pull them out of an old version of SONAR. The SONAR version of plug-ins are not for sale. Kind regards, tecknot
  16. Hi Raja, I have never had this issue, but getting deeper into your situation, how much memory do you have in your Surface? Also, how much memory do you have your Windows Page File set at? Maybe enlarging the amount on your Page File will help. Kind regards, tecknot
  17. Hi Chris and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. Just taking a stab at this, do your sample and bit rates in Cakewalk match those in your interface? Kind regards tecknot
  18. One question: What drive mode do you have set in Cakewalk?
  19. Hi Alexandre, Try changing the settings under your internal sound card's properties (Control Panel > Sounds > Advanced | Exclusive Mode) and uncheck the two options, i.e., "Allow other applications to take exclusive control of this device" and "Give exclusive mode applications priority." Hope that does the trick. Kind regards, tecknot
  20. Thanks, scook! Kind regards, tecknot
  21. Hi seakay beats, You can change the background color of clips from the Theme Editor, but it will change the background for all clips in a track to the same color. Track View | Clips Pane | Clips Kind regards, tecknot

    Issue with Loop

Hi Tunchelli and welcome to the Cakewalk forums. When making loops, try to split your clips and a zero crossing or use fade in/out to avoid unexpected noise at the end points of clips. Kind regards, tecknot
