  1. A few GTR plugs included in the WAVES GOLD bundle: https://www.waves.com/bundles/gold Using all 3 coupons and as an upgrade in account I end up at $79 .. thats a possible. 42 Plugs in that bundle
  2. Yip .. but I think I illustrated a very good & Legit reason why your tool to go from Cakewalk to Reaper is very useful. Not all band members use the same software NOR the same computer hardware/op sys. In my case our keyboard player is MAC ONLY which Cakewalk doesnt support ( easily anyway ) BUT has REAPER which is supported on PC and MAC. So using your tool I can now easily give him my CW project via Reaper. This is very useful and convenient, so thanks again. If Cakewalk was available for Mac I wouldnt have this scenario to deal with .. so as a way around this is your useful tool
  3. Anyone have the GTR3 plugin ( me being an ax player ) .. Any good?? https://www.waves.com/plugins/gtr3
  4. It says: For the next 24 HOURS ONLY, you can get ANY* plugin at Waves.com for only $19.99 (!) – and when you spend at least $50 you’ll also receive free plugins. But misses out explaining how this works .. sort of. To benefit you need to use TWO COUPONS in your cart. First is the one widely published on there site - BF21. Then to knock another 10% off to get price down to $19.99 you ALSO use your 2nd personal coupon in your email.
  5. Hi guys, I am working with a band member who uses MAC and also uses REAPER on the Mac. I need to share my CW projects with him back and forth. So I went looking for a way of moving a CAKEWALK project to Reaper and found that @azslow3 has a tool to do this exact thing mentioned over at the old forums so I thought it should be brought over here: http://forum.cakewalk.com/Sonar-to-Reaper-in-4-clicks-public-alpha-m3725610.aspx The latest version seems to be from July 2020: https://www.azslow.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=57 So I had a go and ITS WORKS a treat. Ok, there is a bit of tidy up because it seems to import CW tracks inside track folders, something to do with the routing I think? But thats easily sorted in Reaper. At the link above is a DLL added to a folder in reaper .. then simply open reaper and File/Open .. it sees the CWP file - open it, that it really. It brought over the Audio tracks + the midi tracks with plugins intact Im sure @azslow3 might have more to say. Thanks for this tool. I wonder would it be possible to develop this tool to go the opposite way also - Reaper to CW?
  6. Here you go @El Orbhe .. Reason Rack Plugin in action inside Cakewalk. It gets added as a VST3 instrument so as with all VST instruments just drag to a track in a project from the Browser panel over right from INSTRUMENTS. So really no need for rewire, thats Reason instruments and effects working inside CW
  7. Are you trying to run whole reason inside Cakewalk OR use the reason plugins inside Cakewalk? About the latter - Reason comes with a plugin which allows you to use Reason Instruments and EFX inside any other DAW. About rewire in Cakewalk: https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=4&help=SoftSynths.22.html I have noticed elsewhere by googling that it works fine with reason "but Reason has to be the Rewire slave"
  8. At that price I suppose its worth having? .. though I have Mixcraft 9 Recording Studio A big reason would be if all or most of the plugins work in other DAWS like CW which is my main DAW ( Ableton after that ). Other than all the plugins in other DAWS is it worth having it I wonder, as a DAW in its own right particularly when we have CW already. Anything in MC thats not anywhere else I wonder?
  9. No email from mixcraft for a good while though I have previous versions Tried re signing up to newsletter but for me it goes to error page after clicking send ( sendy.acoustica.com refused to connect. ) https://acoustica.com/company/newsletter
  10. @cclarryIs that pretty much what we got with Sonar platinum or am I mixing up with something else?
  11. @cclarry A good Q? You know if this the case or not?
  12. I have it also. It hasnt been updated in a long time I dont think.

You also have the new WAVES RetroFi for $29 https://www.waves.com/plugins/retro-fi#retro-fi-true-lofi-analog-magic AudioThing Vinyl Strip €29 https://www.audiothing.net/effects/vinyl-strip/ Sketch Cassette 2 $20 https://aberrantdsp.com/plugins/sketchcassette/ The latter is available on Pluginboutique as a bundle with there other plugin Shapeshifter for €22 https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/39-FX-Bundle/7100-SketchCassette-II-Shapeshifter-Bundle
  14. I hope they OK, when i see this kind of thing I always get nervous .. FOR THEM as a business that is
  15. Good value indeed .. KONTAKT required. Is this the lowest they ever sold at? Sounds very low TBH vs what they say is the original price.
  16. WAVES RetroFi is out and about €29 or less depending on site you buy it from https://www.waves.com/plugins/retro-fi#retro-fi-true-lofi-analog-magic BUT an alt is Sketch Cassette which is now bundled with Shapeshifter for €22.72 plus the freebie as mentioned here https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/7100-SketchCassette-II-Shapeshifter-Bundle Sketch Cassette - https://aberrantdsp.com/plugins/sketchcassette/ Shapeshifter - https://aberrantdsp.com/plugins/shapeshifter/
  17. @Carl Ewing said "Tried the Retro Fi demo. It's a HUGE miss imo. Much better alternatives in Sketch Cassette or RC-20" RC-20 typically $99 - https://www.adsrsounds.com/product/software/xln-audio-rc-20-retro-color-creative-effect-plugin/ Sketch Cassette typically $20 - https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/53-Multi-Effect-/7024-SketchCassette-II OR https://aberrantdsp.com/plugins/sketchcassette/ Waves RetroFI $26 at everyplugin
  18. I went for ROYAL at ADSR before there BF sale ended today - $64 inc that free compressor plugin. ADV of ADSR for me is being in Ireland I can buy in $$ price vs from Ujam its €64
  19. So .. A Q for you @abacab .. you seem to own Dandy and Royal? Of the 2 I really like Royal better than dandy which in general is available at the moment for $64. Im not sure this one gets better than that price wise? So my thing is if I was to choose I would get Royal and am I better off doing so now rather than holding out for a cheaper price at some point for Royal like that $39, has itg ever fallen to that kind of level?
  20. Note all the other 3 basses are at V2 while Dandy is not. I wonder is an upgrade on the way which will require more expenditure
  21. ADSR have pretty much all the UJAM stuff at the same offer prices in $$$ and you get a freebie with the purchase also https://www.adsrsounds.com/software-developer/ujam/
  22. I now have And FINISHER Voodoo also
  23. So bought Mellow also - thats it for now ... mellow and Solid, backline sorted Royal next - https://www.ujam.com/bassist/royal/ BUT this BF sale is going on until 5th Dec .. The Black Friday sale ends on December 5th, 2021 .. maybe it may get added as a Flash Sale
  24. Royal is on sale for 50% now - 64 bucks instead of 129 How are you finding it, sounds great
  25. Just bought it. Top stuff. Thats drums sorted .. Really considering ROYAL for the bass and maybe MELLOW also ... arg, I promised myself i wouldnt do this again
