I don't think I'll ever get to TSM. I have a huge IK collection but the upgrade path is cost prohibitive. Dare I say that if they had an upgrade program like Waves, I'd already be on the TSM path. ?

I think this is the way to go at least until there is a way for multiple captures within a preset.

My Tonex pedal arrived yesterday. The fast free shipping is much appreciated. I didn't have much time to play with it but here's what I've noticed so far: There isn't a power switch, not a big deal. I wish there was a global eq for high pass/low pass, maybe there is and I couldn't find it. I don't see a way to use more than one capture at a time i.e. a dirt pedal and an amp. It sounds great but I don't see it competing in the same space as the all in one units i.e. Quad Cortex, etc. It's a smokin' deal at that price point especially if you have jam points. The included Tonex Max is a huge bonus. I'm looking forward to digging deeper when I have some time, maybe Friday.

Idk.......I think it's easier to just set up a mic and work out a part.

My tax came out to a few dollars more than my local rate as well. I haven't been paying much attention to how much I've been taxed online. I wonder if there's a way to make it right. edit: I guess you just ask for a refund from the vendor. I think so too. I have a Quad Cortex but this is definitely worth getting. I'm glad I held off on buying Tonex, I almost bit a couple of times.

You are correct, that's a fair deal $279.99! It comes with Tonex Max.

Jam points won't work on this. I'm pretty sure Jam points only work for software.

The feature set doesn't seem bad considering it's closest competitor costs $1,449 more.

The rumor is a hardware unit.

Waves has an dynamic upgrade program based on the products you own. Sometimes it's actually a good deal.

You have to pick all 10 in one transaction / order, but that can be at any anytime, you don't need to select them straight away.
