Hi, I'm trying to create a shortcut to ARCHIVE track(s). I couldn't find the corresponding item in the Key Bindings area. I checked all the categories. It should be under Global Bindings I guess. Last saved shortcut had the text "Set All Selected Tracks to Archived Status", which I didn't find. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Mmmm... yes, you are right. I can't find a way to do that. Sorry! Workaround: use the X shortcut to use the Assist Line to help align precise changes on a lane with the audio clip while automation lanes are open?

Regarding hiding envelopes: just click the minus when the Automation lanes are displayed, AND the "Display Ghosted Data" is OFF: the envelope disappear from sight completely, with the automation lanes open or closed. To show again an envelope: click the plus sign (apparently, CW remembers the envelopes used...!) --- Colors: have no idea how to change the envelope colors! - someone will have the answer thou.

Spot On! it worked just fine. Yes, it took me a while to read the OPEN THE LOOP CONSTRUCTION VIEW b ... jeje Yes, I struggled a little bit with Loop construction, but made it work. Yes, there is a limit in the audio length: in my case, it worked splitting the long clip in two, each one around 7 minutes long (it's a lot! - this was a whole movement of a Beethoven Symphony). I did all the steps and was able to fine tune by pitch cents (-23 cents), and voilá... the audio matched my VSTs. Thanks a lot!

Hi, I need to adjust the tuning of an old recording in which the orchestra was tuned to 432 hz. I need to adjust the whole tuning to 440 hz (today's standard), but didn't find a way using Melodyne Studio, nor using the transpose audio commend, which goes in half steps. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Milton, I tried in my system and every audio track has the two options available. However the MIDI tracks don't. Double check your type of track? and make sure that you RIGHT click on the selection area. Left clicking does nothing! (weird)

I think AUDIO track colors in track view gets its shade from two sources: Default Color or assigned bus. If your newly inserted track are routed to some predefined bus, and it's color is assigned to "Follow Bus", it will get it's color. Or if not, it will get its shade from your Default color. To open the related menus, left click on the color of the track, then right click on the color selection area. Check this thread related to colors:

Also, be aware that you can select a bunch of notes, and by dragging (extending) one of them, all will follow, so you don't need to edit one by one.

Uh, this is BIG NEWS! So, CW is capable of doing what the OP needed to do. Fantastic! Never occured to me it was possible. I will give it a try. --- Edit: I already tried it and works like a charm. It even adds the plugins from the source project, with all parameters updated, plus all the corresponding bus/track parameters. I wish I knew this before. This is why this forum is so great. Interesting! I've had similar scenarios, and indeed it would be a great addition to CW to have this ability...! Right now it's not implemented, and the only way I know is the rather tedious process you just described. Oh, you get the menu from right clicking. Yes, it's confusing there. In the main menu are two options, copy and copy special.

Sorry, it was a bit hard to see clearly the details of your video, but I have had a similar issue, which was my fault. Not sure if this applies to your problem. When exporting, I used the export preset Tracks Through Entire Mix, which sum all hardware outputs, which were two (Main Out+Speakers Out), so the audio was clipping more or less depending on the fader position of the speakers out. In this case, the solution was to mute the speakers out on exporting, as the preset by its nature sums all outs. Double check that your export preset is the right one, and if it is, that the settings are correct.

I found out that the default folder becomes the one that was opened when saving the screenset!

Thanks for your feedback and tests! I wasn't unable to get the same results that you got, but after another series of quick tests found out that the default browser folder appears to be linked to the active Screenset. So, I unlocked the screenset, locked again (it seems the only way to "save the screenset"), and it saved the selected folder with it.

Thanks! mmm, no... when I first open the media browser it always opens certain folder (i.e Midi Groove Clips folder, that i never use), and don't know why. Nothing important, just annoying It seems that it's not tied to last saved file, or a template, so I'm a bit lost -

I already installed and added to the utilities menu (thanks msmcleod!) the Acoustica 6. Works great! I have a question: what's the difference between the pencil tool used in protools and the leveling freehand tool of acoustica? Does the pencil just draw a volume envelope?
