A holiday thanks for everyone who makes this forum so friendly and valuable. I've been using online music-making forums since the early days of KVR and I find no other music-making forum as friendly, helpful and user-centric as this forum, and specifically, I'm thinking of the Deals subforum.
Absolutely agree. I came to the old CW forum about 15 years ago looking for some help. I found a really helpful, friendly supportive bunch of folks. I pop in here nearly everyday just to soak up the good vibes and great deals. My thanks and appreciation to all of you for working so hard to make this place as great as it is.

Our Festive Winter Sale is now on!
Up to 50% off all manner of holiday-themed synthesisers!*
Ho ho ho! Be of good cheer: 'tis the season to lop varying percentages off all our instruments. Although nobody could really say that Mongo has been a good boy this year, he's still found enough festive spirit to lurch through the laboratory hacking prices left and right. If you fancy treating yourself (or a Kontakt-enabled loved one) to something a little leftfield, now's your chance. Here's what's going down:
Beat Room – 33% off vintage analogue and digital drum machines
Keyboard Vault – 25% off some choice, unusual acoustic and electric keys
The Laboratory – 25% off strange and wonderful original instruments
Mongo’s Cupboard – 50% off some downright peculiar stuff

I know this particular page is for music software, but I still do a bit of graphic work and always appreciate posts like these, so thanks MusicMan and pseudopop to both of you for these links.

That would be great!
What I like about smaller developers like Hideaway and RR is that they cover instruments/sounds that larger developers don't. Jennings Univox synthesiser anyone?

There is some good stuff on that site if you take the time to sort through it.

If you've been enjoying the free version of Jamstix 4 and have been debating stepping up to the full version, this is your time. Jamstix is now on sale with deep discounts. For example, 'Jamstix 4 Studio' is just $99 instead of the normal $249 price.
If you already own Jamstix 4, now is the time to get those expansions you've had your eye on. All of them are on sale, Jamcussion is only $29 instead of $69, MetalPak and BonzoPak can be had for $19 each instead of $49 and the big MiniPak bundle, which is already a great deal at $59, is on sale for just $39.
The sale ends on December 31st. If you have any questions, drop us an email at sales@rayzoon.com and we will be happy to assist.
Secure Online Shop
Please note that the macOS version is still in Beta and does not work well with newer macOS versions. Do NOT purchase a Jamstix license at this time unless you are using a PC.
Best regards,
Your friends @ Rayzoon

I am still sitting back and waiting to see how this all pans out.
That kind of self-control impresses me!

The Windows version hasn’t seen an update of any kind in years. Hopefully they keep it going.
I posted this same concern on FB and was told they are working on an upgrade and had enlisted beta testers.

The only rock organ I can think of are kidney stones (Sorry!!).
Been there, done that. I actually fainted in the doctor's office. You can get some pretty fast treatment after that.

Interesting one, thanks! Spending couple years on the forum here I became a piano sucker (I blame Fleer).
I've been here about 15 years. I can promise it will only get worse.

AA is dropping new plugins at an amazing rate. It seems like they have something new every few weeks. It's certainly an exciting time if you use their stuff.

Bitflipper, it's great to see you back here. I hope you're well. As for Indiginus, I think he does amazing stuff at an amazing price point. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on this library.

the GBP has taken a beating vs USD lately. Use a payment method with no transaction fees. I think Paypal adds @ 5%
That's the truth! The dollar and the pound are almost at parity (1.0 BPS = 1.08USD). If anyone is a Nebula user this would be a good time to buy TimP libraries since he's located in Britian and lists his prices in pounds.

Thanks for the link and the excellent review as well. It's much appreciated.

I have to say the two tracks sounded different, but they both sounded great. Given software like this, and things like IK's new Tone-Ex, it looks like we're on the cusp of some amazing advances in emulations. It's a good time to be recording!

Don't overlook Rhythmic Robot. His stuff leans towards the quirky, but there are a lot of affordable well-done instruments there.
