Most of my Waves plugins are v9 and v10, about the same "vintage" as yours. They should work fine. Take comfort in the fact that Waves never really updates their plugins anyway too, so they should be just as good as "new" ones.

That's the sad thing. I wasn't really after anything. This Dev is way too pricey for me. I'm mildly curious about the Monofilter for $19, but then the whole coupon thing got me sideways. BTW, it works in the cart on the Nugen site, but I'm still wondering how it's supposed to work at Everyplugin and elsewhere.... Time to move on!
-
No worries, I was just trying to figure out what I was missing! Now I can go about looking for deals. Thanks.

I logged in to my Nugen account, and under "Offers and Upgrades" I found But no code... Simon, I'm sorry, I'm really not trying to be a PITA, but now where??
-
Ah yes, I see that in the email now. But there's no code, "...the voucher will automatically appear in your shopping basket when the order total exceeds the voucher value..." How would Plugin Boutique honor that? It's kind of a moot point I guess, since I won't likely use it. But still... ?
-
Where do you see that? From the bottom of the survey page:
-
The voucher makes Monofilter $19 I think. Still, I'm really not so sure that's something I can't already do a dozen other ways...

https://nugenaudio.com/annual-survey-2021 FWIW, it's a $100 coupon with a $100 minimum spend... This is another Dev I typically just ignore because their prices are not in the least "hobbyist" friendly. I got Monfilter Elements for FREE at some point, but never use it after my initial try... Anyone use any of their stuff?

So very sorry to hear. My thoughts go out to you and your family...
-
Have you tried EQ matching? I'm thinking you could keep the audio separate on two tracks, then EQ Match each of the tracks to a common source...
-
FWIW - I've been working on leveling vocals in my mix template for awhile now. My 2 favorite levelers (today) are the "ALM" in Nectar 3 and Melda's MAutoVolume. PS. I need to learn the unmasking feature!
-
I'm liking this one! ?
-
Good grief! Which one do you use??
-
Or, for $54 bucks you can use you own headphones.... (There are a number of other options in this thread too, as well as Lars pointing out that he had already pointed out the deal I was pointing out.)

Big +1 on this one! It's been the last plugin on my Mixbus since I got it... over 2 years ago. Super easy to use and has some nice features. One of my underrated* favs. It is the last plugin I adjust before rendering a mix... *Underrated because I use it all the time and just don't really think about it.

I set up a WordPress website for my kids' school organization and ran it for a few years. I installed a free version of WordFence, a security plugin. I was always astounded by the number of IP addresses that plugin blocked from all over the world. It seems like Russia, China, Ukraine, France and the U.S. were the most common culprits. And they were tons of attempted "Admin" logins with the usual iterations of passwords... It does make you paranoid. But is it paranoia if they really are out to get you? ?
-
Bump. In case anyone missed this. I signed up for his email list, and the guy is a machine! He's constantly issuing new loops, etc. Admittedly, I haven't even installed the plugin yet. I've been mixing. I need to start creating... ?

Actually, if you click the word "Cart" under the JST logo on the left side of the page, you can go back. Also, if you leave something in your cart, those emails usually include a discount... But I totally agree - it just might be THE WORST shopping page around.
-
Oh, you mean we're supposed to USE these??
-
Now you're just getting greedy!
-
Use it for Black Box, then buy something cheap from Plugin Boutique - quickly - and pick up the United Plugins Royal Compressor as a freebie! It's really pretty good!

So, not to digress and go off-topic, but I will... If an when I'm ready to upgrade to a "control surface", while I like the tactile feeling of knobs and faders, I've been leaning towards a touch screen monitor lately. No mapping of controls, etc. Just curious if you or anyone who has been down this road has input?
-
I'm getting so used to just clicking through the "check out" screens I have to consciously slow myself down, because one of these times, they'll slip in a high $$ item and I'll buy it by accident!
