  1. I just noticed this one! Excellent limiter! Easy to set up and very friendly on the CPU. https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/the-wall/
  2. IMHO, the clean no non-sense UI and the bucket load of features make it worth it. That said, I find I reach for Boz's The Wall more often because it is just so nice on the CPU and easy to set up. People seem to love Limiter No. 6 but I have found the UI a little clunky and the CPU hit. BTW, Tokyo Dawn came out with a paid version of this that looks great. Oh! The Wall is on sale! I HIGHLY recommend it! Get that! https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/the-wall/
  3. Just to clarify, you can use the iLok Cloud to authorize these. It checks the license when you start your DAW. No dongle required. This may be a new company, but this Dev has been around. I emailed him about the "most famous guitar amp plugins" line on his "About" page. He did the all the Brainworx amp plugins also distributed by UA. You can verify - his name is in the "About" dialogs of the plugins. Plus, I'll vouch for the LoFi Vintage Clipper - it's awesome!
  4. Yes! And yup. The last Group Buy got me on the IK bandwagon. ?
  5. Yeah, I'm demoing it and really liking it too!
  6. Really?? Awesome! I'm definitely going to have to try this one out again. First time it was too CPU intensive for me.
  7. At everyplugin and audiodeluxe too!
  8. Yowsa! Thanks for the heads up guys. I need to stay far far away from these with my poor excuse for a "rig".
  9. Haha! Love it! In honor of this special day! Eventide just rose a couple of notches in my book. ? https://www.npr.org/2019/04/10/711723383/watch-earth-gets-its-first-look-at-a-black-hole
  10. I guess I should have said "I have a couple of different plugin from them".
  11. ?? what's wrong with PSP audioware? I have a couple from them...
  12. Anyone actually use this thing? The one knob-pumper. (??)
  13. Thanks Lars. How did you find out about this one? I guess it's time to update Waves Central... ?
  14. Weellllll, from the Waves email I got today titled "SHHHHH - 24HR Secret Sale", the prices are $23! Curiously, that's just what we can get a $29 plugin from the discounters... Hmmm.
  15. The FREEBIE from Zynaptiq - Subspace is really nice too. Based on that, I'll bet Adaptiverb is simply amazing... https://www.zynaptiq.com/subspace/
  16. All true! I've heard the same about Decapitator too which is next on my list. That, or I'll spring for the whole bundle next Black Friday... Little Microshift and Sie-Q get a whole lot of use too. I love SoundToys. Was free when it first came out. Sounds amazing but is a bit of a CPU hog - at least for my POS CPU. It's the first plate verb I reach for, and the first plugin I replace when I'm almost done with a mix, i.e. CPU is on its knees, and I look to see which ones are sucking up the most CPU. MJUC is another in that category.
  17. Yep. I can imagine it's very hard these days for a smaller company without much name recognition to compete in this market.
  18. I wish I would start using my LaunchkeyMini already! I'll bet you have hardware from both companies though.
  19. ^^^ This! ^^^ DO NOT REUSE THE SAME PASSWORD WITH THE SAME EMAIL ON ANY 2 ACCOUNTS! It's just a matter of time if you do... (And the other things that TerraSin said too.) Sorry to hear about this Lars, that sucks. Start changing passwords if you are using the same one!
  20. Not before leaving its mark...
  21. It's the Novation Sound Collective. I know this because I don't own any Focurite hardware and they kicked me off their Plugin Collective a while ago. ? )
  22. And that's just how I describe the VSC2! (No way am I going to demo the vsc3, I can't afford it!)
