It's usually the first one I try for my "Room" reverb too. It sounds great! I've been wondering if I should get the full version for awhile now too.
-
What I do like about it in Studio One is that it has the "mini" version where you can expand it on the channel inserts section and get an idea of your levels anywhere you insert the plugin.

Bump. I've been playing around with this thing and it's fan-freakin-tastic! Warren's video just scratched the surface on what this can do. If you're looking for a "transparent" compressor, then move on. But if you want something that is going to make you sit up and take notice and add some schnizzle, try this baby out. This is seriously a cool tool - it can do "normal", but excels at "different" and "exciting". I'm having so much fun I just had to share! Off to RTFM and play some more. Cheers!

Totally worth it and a great way to start chipping away at the full upgrade price for SoundToys 5.

Here's another online loudness analyzer if you just want to check the loudness of your mix. Just click "Analyze From File" and drag your MP3 or whatever onto the page. https://youlean.co/online-loudness-meter/

Yes, every time I do a mix... I also run into issues sometimes with OpenGL. I can't upgrade my graphics card. It's waaaay past time to upgrade my DAW PC!
-
That is actually where I found out about this. It's free to try, so give it a go and judge for yourself.

Man this ticks me off! I had to pay like $4 to get it through Computer Music last year! ? But seriously though, this is probably my most used IK plugin. Wow!
-
Not me, and I've probably got the crappiest PC on here, aDell with an i3 ...

I tried it out earlier this year and it's really really cool! They give you some free time when you sign up so you can play around and figure things out. I didn't have any problems processing or anything like that. My problem is trying to fit it into my mixing workflow. You need to upload the stems/tracks, process them, then download them again and plug them into your DAW... Still, what an incredibly cool "outside the box" idea! (See what I did there? )
-
Just because they won't "support" it, doesn't mean Studio One will stop working on Win7...
-
Don't you just hate it when the FREE update they just gave you breaks the FREE software that you never use that they gave you earlier??
-
Awesome! NOW Kush just needs to get on the $29 bandwagon!

D-Rez is pretty decent. T-Comp gets some use. I keep forgetting I have RM-2. ?

I have this and it's fine, but I never use it because I always use Hofa's 4U Meter from their Free Bundle. It's got the same options as the FreeG, but I particularly like the Panning options the 4U offers and the Trim on the individual channels. The UI is super intuitive and easy to work with too. https://hofa-plugins.de/en/plugins/4u/ Sorry Lars, I didn't mean to side-track your thread. Maybe it could be a FREE Metering Thread?

Now THAT'S a new angle! I guess they've got enough current plugins to cover you, but how would you know if you want any "future" plugins?
-
This is a good idea. However, what if you simply made your script just clean out the default 32 bit plugin folders? Then you wouldn't have to worry about telling specific installers to dump them into your "temp" folder?
-
Anyone use this? It sounds killer!

In case you missed it a couple of months ago: https://reverb.com/software/effects/eventide/82-eventide-omnipressor-compressor?pla=1

I usually use the Czech Mirror 1. It's very dependable and goes right to download without all the extra Google Drive clicks - and is always a decent enough download rate...
-
Now that is some GREAT info! Thanks. Are you certain ARC doesn't do the system-wide thing? That's a big deal.

Ah, I have a bunch of plugins and only own the MFreeFXBundle and the MEssentialsFXBundle. ...Doh! Never mind - I just went to verify what I was seeing and now it looks like they have been cleaned up. MLimiterX which is part of MEssentialsFX and a couple of others had been showing up in the "new plugins" list. I was thinking it was because that was a newer bundle and they hadn't handled it properly yet. Unfortunately though, my bundle upgrade pricing didn't go down... ?

You need to add all 4 of them to get trigger the code. It'd e nice to get a discount if you already own some though...
