No "order cancelled" email from Musician's Friend yet....
-
My MF order went through at 10:40 this morning... I wonder if I got the last one?

The Nomad Factory Blue Tubes Tempo Delays 3D is available for FREE with any purchase at DontCrack. http://www.dontcrack.com/news/2019/11/free-nomad-factory-blue-tubes-tempo-delay-3d/

Yes, the SoundSpot plugins are pretty good at that and I like the UIs. Paradox is another interesting one.

THIS is a nice plugin for the price! ? https://www.kvraudio.com/product/orilriver-by-denis-tihanov
-
You can download here.... https://www.izotope.com/en/products/downloads/legacy-products.html No idea if it will run with a new serial or not.
-
Wow! Anyone know if it's possible to install previous versions?? That looks awesome!
-
Great! IIRC, the comments were that +10dB stuff is a little "unusual" the way it operates (true to the modeled hardware) but sounds really really good. You'll have to let us know how you like your new plugins! ?

A couple of really decent engineers over on the Indie Recording forum really like it. It's been on my list for awhile, but I just haven't pulled the trigger for some reason. Boz's The Wall is also on sale for $29 bucks and is a total no-brainer for that! It's permanently parked on my mixbus. ? https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/the-wall/

I haven't looked closely at the specs, but FWIW, I have a Tascam US2x2 and use the Mix knob all the time because it effectively controls both the Line Out and the Phones at the same time. I have those 2 gain knobs "normalized" with each other because I run a sub-woofer off the Phone jack - when not using headphones of course. I hope that made sense... Short answer, I find the Mix knob very useful because of my Mickey Mouse monitoring setup. ?

They introduced that after v10 was released for obvious reasons. If I recall, it didn't work reliably either. I didn't get back up and running until a knowledgeable Tech Support guy told me some folders to delete, then run something or other. Hmmm... maybe I deteted the folders then ran the Version Organizer?? I forget now, especially with all the myriad of different things I tried at the time. I think I posted the solution on here at some point...

The only time I've needed customer support was when the v9 to v10 update screwed up all my plugins. Admittedly, they DO make some good plugins though... ?
-
It looks like they're on to that loophole. Out of curiosity, I tried it in my account and got this... WUPping has never looked so unappealing...
-
Thanks Lars. Still not real tempting, but good to know!
-
How do you guys do that "mass WUP" thing again? ...Or do you just "extend" the WUPping period by getting a new plugin?
-
Just so I'm clear. If you upgrade to any "bundle", does everything in your Account WUP?
-
Call me old fashioned, but I kind of like the first one best... ?
-
There are lots if you look around. SoundSpot has some interesting plugins on sale...
-
Well, it's getting BIG love over on the Indie Recording forum. @marled has a nice write-up on how it stacks up with various others on the PluginFox thread, which I know you've seen.... I'm thinking though, for $9 bucks, how could you go wrong?
-
Wow, great write-up! Thanks! I'd like to hear your take on MAutoVolume too, if you're so inclined. That's my current go-to.
-
I'm thinking about this one... https://www.pluginboutique.com/products/5484-ERA-4-Voice-Leveler

Because you enjoy wasting time trying to get something to work that wasn't going to do anything for you in the first place?
-
Hopefully, I won't need to do separate installs for long, because the full SoundToys is definitely on my wish list. ?
-
Hmmmm.. maybe I'm missing soomething. But each of these (just the Windows installers) average about 250MB. Multiply that by 9 and there you go. Maybe I didn't need to download all of them?
-
Egad! These installers are HUGE! My 9 plugins are over 2GB!!
