Man, I wish these guys would get on the Waves pricing bandwagon! If the CM version of Hyperspace is any indication, they make GREAT plugins! I'm firmly in the camp of sell more at $20-$40 than much less at $60-$130. * At these prices I won't even consider a unknown Dev. ...well, actually, after getting CM Hyperspace, I do consider it. But just for a second. This one seems kind of cool. * Yes, I realize this is quite a self-serving position to have.

I can't believe I'm going do say this again - but I find it quite annoying that Jam Points expire... * But, like @Grem I got mine in a group buy a couple of years ago and love it. And like @Reid Rosefelt I picked up the black 76 from CM and it is my go-to. It's the first one I try on my bass tracks. Great plugins! * Sorry to complain again IK

Here's a cool virus research page someone over on GS posted. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/e4bb3df05c102ff2714440b6d3652db605b52b1eb2515f18e76b6428d9653dae/detection

BTW, anyone ever use these? I've downloaded the FREE ones over the years but never got around to trying them out. Any good?

All clear on a re-scan of the folder with McAffee, MalwareBytes and Windows Defender. (I updated my original post.)
-
It was a few of the VST versions that McAfee barked at.

BEWARE BEFORE YOU START UNZIPPING THESE!!!! HEADS UP FOLKS! My McAfee anti-virus has flagged a few of these ZIPs!! I'm going to try and check whether or not they're false positives. I'll come back with a list of the ones that got flagged. ----- edit ----- I downloaded ALL the VST and VST3 plugins and RESCANNED. McAffee threw up warning messages on: YALA VST, Fetish VST, Rare VST, OAQ Vst, Jamp VST, Blackshow VST and Zuppa VST. I rescanned the folder after downloading them anyway and McAffee came up clean. I also scanned the folder with MalwareBytes and Windows Defender which also came up clean. So I am assuming the warnings were false positives - it wouldn't be the first time. Sorry to be alarmist!

Does this mean we run the installer then have to UN-install all the plugins we don't own? Not that I'm complaining about an update, but I guess I'm complaining... ? P. I DO like my T-Racks plugins though, just not all the "mess".

I Unsubscribed From the Musician's Friend Email List!mibby replied to Reid Rosefelt's topic in Deals Haha! Sweetwater. Totally agree, but hands down better experience dealing with them than MF lately. SW should have a "no call" list.

audio plugin deals APD Offer: 80% OFF: Massive Rock Bundle by UEBERSCHALLmibby replied to Audio Plugin Deals's topic in Deals Heads up APD guy - your links seem to be broken. Just FYI

No kidding! But you left off the 2 very good Melda reverbs - MConvolutionEZ and MCharmVerb. Oh! 2 more excellent verbs by AconDigital - ReverbSolo and Verberate Basic. OH! And don't forget the very excellent one by Zynaptic - Subspace! I'm sure I'm missing a few... Voxengo 's got one which I'm sure is good, but I've just never gotten around to trying it... ?

Ah yes, of course Ozone would have the frequency ranges - they'd do it right. All I have is the free Ozone Imager which doesn't allow for the frequency bands... So $19 for Mongoose. How much for Ozone 9 Advanced? ? PS. The Wall is another plugin on my mixbus for the exact same reasons as Mongoose - clean, easy to use, no nonsense UI.
-
The only similar thing the stereo widening. Mongoose lets you monoize the low frequncies AND widen. I like being able to "solo" each of the frequencies as you're dialing it in. Clean, easy to use, no nonsense UI.

Sweet! Love my VVV! Why wouldn't it? Not trying to be a tool, but just wondering why you'd have to ask?
-
It's sad, but now every time I see a Musician's Friend deal, I wonder which "deal" they want to screw me on next... Makes me sad, because I used to order from their mail order catalogue back in the 80's.

Mongoose is one of my favs. So easy to use and dial in...

Well, I'd been considering $41-$46 deal on the Vocal Bundle upgrade. On the Izotope site, they offfered a 5% discount when I left it in my cart. THEN, the reminder email that today is the last day for the Valentie's 30% Sael (enter 30OFF during checkout) so I checked to see if I could stack the coupons. I just picked up the Vocal Bundle Upgrade for $34.30! Sweet deal!!! So, if you're considering an Izotope buy, check out their website, leave something in the cart and get 5%, then enter (last day!) "30OFF" for an additional 30%. ?
-
That made me want to buy it too, and I have delays out the wazoo as well! If you want to sell anything - have Dan Worrall do the video for you...
-
JRR is $41.16 with "Group" code. Are the AAS Packs worth $9?
-
I can get the vocal bundle upgrade at PB for $49. Is there any discount code? I can get it at AudioDeluxe for $43.98 or Izotope for $46.55... Am I just being greedy? ?
-
Here's the one I'm excited about! https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/2-Effects/39-FX-Bundle/5338-Vocal-Bundle-Upgrade-from-VocalSynth-2-or-Nectar-excluding-Elements- $49 to upgrade to Nectar3!! (and Vocal Synth)
-
You can get it at Don't Crack and get Nomad Factory's Bus Driver for free...
-
I am liking the simple interfaces. Sometimes you just want to grab something and see if it'll work without wasting too much time...
-
I've used their free chorus once, I think. Are any of their plugins good? What should I get?
