Yeah. I have been using it for song structure ideas using Halion SE piano and the Alicia Keys NI piano. But I am really liked the sound of the Small Upright that Toontrack have.
-
yeah. i have been using it that way. works well. but i have been also checking out some of the sounds and they do actually have some good sampled sounds. this is from the Studio Grand which was released in 2015 I think. https://soundcloud.com/pianoproducer-online/ezkeys-studio-grand-dynamics-test

How do these guys compare to other products? I notice the same guy samples instruments for Toontrack.
-
In case this was not posted. Thomman have the expansion for $36 in case anyone looking of an expansion that is not on sale. https://www.thomannmusic.com/toontrack_ezkeys_sound_expansion.htm

*This offer excludes the Area 33 SDX and the Orchestral Percussion SDX.

I am still sitting back and waiting to see how this all pans out.

i got into EZKeys and a EZB midi pack. - EZKeys Hybrid harps - EZKeys Folk & Epic midi packs. - EZBass Fusion midi pack.
-
that not very much. i wonder if they will come back with a better deal after BF and CM.
-
i am good with this, i have had my eye on the fusion EZB. its cheaper than in the 6 pack bundle.
-
I just checked. My octavox upgrade is $24
-
yup. this is indeed true.

I think I have values that I got for free. . I never use it.

I agree. and defiantly needs a resizable GUI. I just finished playing around with it. It's actually quite usable but you have to rely on the midi editor functionality of your DAW. much more so than EZB which is very self contained. But EZK is quite usable if you use its midi browser favorites a lot. I built up chunks of a song into the favorites. and then once done, i dragged them all together into one big song in the song track and from there into the DAW. once in the DAW, i am able to do more things with the midi. I picked up the Hybrid Harp. I liked the sound of it when I first heard demos and its totally up my alley. a weird hybrid instrument. i dont have anything like that in my collection.
-
i picked it up. defiantly usable for my uses.
-
so basically what i do with EZBass midi is I throw a rhythm midi pattern at it and then use it to find comparable patterns in its library. once i find something i like, i reduce complexity completely and then export that midi to another track and use it with a bass part idea usually with a synth of some sort. it generates much better bass parts than my doing it on my own as i am primarily a guitar player and not a bass player -- so my entire approach to parts does not come from someone firmly rooted in playing bass in a band.
-
did anyone pickup EZKeys Folk Midi? Is it useful stuff? I am thinking maybe pick it up and wait for EZKeys 3. I assume it should work.

What's on your BLACK FRIDAY Wish List? (Not a Deal)

I gotta say. I am really bummed out by this BF. I think I am at this point looking at EZKeys offer and debating it, or just say forget it and go with Scalar 2. Starting to like the idea of a "quasi" composition assistance tool of some kind. -
I will sue em for copyright infringement.
