  1. 1. Select a track 2. Go to Inspector > Clip and deselect Use Track Colors 3. Click on Foreground/Background color squares and choose colors Can't be transparent Most colors but primary, black and white will have a gradient
  2. Can't do it but would be a nice addition.
  3. Extract files to your HDD and Import them into you theme by right-clicking the item in Theme Editor and selecting Import. The 3 GAIN modules are larger than the originals so they can't be imported. You must open them in a photo editor through Theme Editor. 1. Open Theme Editor and click Tools. 2. Click Setup Wizard 3. Click Next > 4. Click Next > 5. Select your photo editor and click Next > 6. Click Finish Open Theme Editor and find the original graphics 1. Double click each one at a time. This will launch your photo editor and open the graphic 2. Open the new graphic in the photo editor 3. Copy the new one into the old one 4. Delete the layer with the old one 5. Save the file 6. In Theme Editor click OK and save the theme with a new name Theme Editor includes the old gray background graphics. Don't change these as they are no longer used. To change color, open in a photo editor and adjust the HUE setting.
  4. Track/Clip colors can be changed ln T.E. and Preferences > Customization > Colors, and Inspector > Clip > Foreground/Background.

    Tempo Event

Clip tempo vs. Global tempo. There's an idea.

    Tempo Event

I'm all for a "vertical" snap. In Tempo View, Global Snap only affects tempo time, not the tempo itself. To enter a specific tempo you have to draw/click where you want it, go to the righthand list, double click the tempo and adjust it manually. You can also change tempo using the Control Bar Transport Module and enter the exact tempo, or the File Menu Project > Insert Tempo Change which opens the same dialog window as above.
  7. You can change the icon's color with Theme Editor.
  8. I'll try that next time it acts up again.
  9. Focusing & Selecting are 2 different things. Your tip Selects a track, which can also be done by clicking on one of it's clips. Focusing is supposed to be accomplished by clicking anywhere in the Control Pane area. And usually works but for the times it tefuses to.
  10. Background is currently N/A. Only editables are under Theme > Browser in TE.
  11. Focus should move to a track when you click on it's Control Pane. Occasionally I can click a hundred times on a track and it never gets focus until I click on one of it's Clips. Now it's Focused and Selected. After that Focus works as expected.
  12. Cakewalk uses system installed TTF fonts listed in the String files of the TTSRES file. MS San serif, Tahoma, Arial, Times New Roman, & Courier New, are listed with Arial being Track Name and Control Bar fonts. You can change the font face using a resource editor with mixed results, but I haven't found a way to change size. Lyrics view allows you to change font face & size. Snap & Screenset button text is painted on graphically.
  13. In Rapture (not Session) and Dimension, just click on the Bend values in scook's example and scroll your mouse up. The limit is 24 semitones or 2 octaves.
  14. If I simply drag an audio clip to a MIDI track, like demonstrated by the OP, it flat lines all the notes. Seems I have to create a Melodyne Region FX clip first. Then it works. I don't see where the OP did that.

We now have the Arranger track, which can be used with or in leu of the markers, which helps.
  16. It can be confusing. You can copy from a selected track but pasting will go into whichever track is in focus. Focused track = Track name and control pane highlighted. Selected track = Track number and clip(s) highlighted.

I've requested this before. But also for the time ruler digits.
  18. In Preferences >Customization >Editing >Clips you can choose which side of a TV clip gets selected when splitting a clip in two. The same options for splitting PRV notes would be fantastic. Especially when deleting portions of a note. Currently you can only have the left side selected after splitting. But only after selecting the note before splitting.
  19. With CbB 2020.11 and Melodyne Editor 4.2.4 all I get is flat lined midi notes. Every note is A4.
  20. I normally do it by hand but today I thought to try Strum-it.CAL. It does well for my needs tho I don't like that it chops the beginning of the notes instead of shifting them. If you have a short note, it can disappear or throw an error. You can undo a CAL script but it requires several undo processes. Keep hitting undo until the original notes are restored.
  21. I've often wished for this feature because a simple hit of the W key won't take you back to the last Now Time setting. I've set my arrow keys as transport. < = RTZ > = Go To End v = Pause ^ = Record Space = Play
  22. If I understand you, any notes directly above the pitch bend data in PRV will be affected by it. It looks like you have several short notes throughout the length of the pitch data, so they will all be affected by it. Cakewalk defaults the full bend range to 2 semitones up (0 to +8191) and down (-8191 to 0), or 4 semitones total. There is a way to change it higher and lower but I forget how ATM.
  23. When I'm lost, I use "Everything" to find everything. ?
