I just wanted to point this out for new folks. Melda plugins are exceptional in many ways, but AFAIK the subscription model is not the best vehicle (economically) to buy into a bundle (or THE bundle). The best way is to: Sign up for their newsletter ($10 credit), One-off purchase plugins you like/would use in the 50%-off weekly Eternal Madness offers (for a new user, use someone's referral coupon (20% off for you when a new user, and 10% credit for them - ongoing)). Demos are also fully functional for 15 days, so you can try things as you see them. Once you have made a purchase, you then get your own referral code (check your account) and should share that with others. Finally, when these 50% bundle discounts roll around again, check your account to see how much the remaining cost is for a given bundle (you get partially credited for plugins you already own in a given bundle). Curb-appeal aside, Melda's plugins share common architecture, 16x upsampling, multi-band processing (for many of them), modulation matrices, among many other features. Even though the initial "sticker shock" can be overwhelming, there is no upgrade train to deal with in the future, which makes them even more unique. Once you own a plugin, upgrades are free forever, and owning a bundle earns you plugins added to that bundle in the future as well. The upgrade costs of competitors after a couple cycles can easily sum up to what the MCompleteBundle is when 50% off. And for truly new users... download the MFreeFXBundle (not the upgrade), and check them out. They just added a visual metronome which has been asked for inside many DAWs.

A Company that CONTINUOUSLY shoots itself in the Face!

Or if the full version of Kontakt is required... -
The introduction of Ripple Delete was the stepping stone needed to get to an arranger track, so it is a lot closer to becoming reality than it once was. It just needs the final push...

Glad I read this thread... So they were accurate. 6 is more than 1.950! Check. 6 is bigger than 2.546789 too.

A lot of work in that list! This is worth pinning for the new folks.

@Gswitz had researched some wiki solutions back in 2013 IIRC, but it never gained traction. Mediawiki seems to be the most commonly used free wiki engine out these days, but still requires setup, hosting, and management that can overwhelm a single person easily. The content formatting is a big hurdle to get off on the right foot so others can get involved and be successful. One of the other concerns back then was if it was okay to host a wiki in support of Cakewalk without the company buy-in, which I do not believe was ever received. It would make a lot more sense to have a supporting wiki located at wiki.cakewalk.com. Some of the more impressive wikis are from games, since the number of potential collaborators is high. Probably the most impressive one I have seen is the one created for Guild Wars 2 (based on Mediawiki with 11 years under its belt). That has a truckload of contributors, so is maintained incredibly well. All-in-all it is very similar in many ways to the html version of the CbB reference manual pdf that exists now, but in wiki format that allows members to update the content (hence the company buy-in being important).
-
Another argument for a wiki... updating a colossal manual by one person is tedious, and a lot of the tips, tricks, and recommended work flows that have been posted in the forums either get repeated or lost in archives (especially if they were in the old forum... like how to set up a compressor, or interleave advice just to name a couple since there are a LOT). It is convenient to have an active reference that user's can contribute to in a standard format, consolidated links, etc. I personally do not get excited about massive volumes, since the computer has made it easy to be verbose without anyone ever editing anything to current relevance. The OP does remind me of a funny story from my Navy days where the CO's Standing Orders had a quarterly review requirement. It was a 3" notebook stuffed to the brim at first, but I found authorization in it allowing me to cycle a pilot valve next to the CO's rack that squealed like a pig (he was a light sleeper and I was always the mid-watch OOD). Long story short (he was a screamer too, which added to the comedic value), 3 days later the department heads abridged that all down to something that easily fit into a 1" notebook. My argument was simple... that reference needs to be concise, simple, and effective, so that people actually know what is in it. That valve getting cycled got moved to the afternoon watch too ?.

No, there are plenty of other options available. I didn't use the hub initially, so they showed up no where, but rather than waste time on another freebie I will never use, I moved on (didn't do the hub install). Many freebies these days turn out to be a ruse to get you to register an account so companies can spam you with advertisements. Many of them if you never knew they existed, you would also probably never miss.

Humble Bundle - Filmmakers ( inc Hitfilm Pro 14.1 )

Quick note to add to Matthew's for those who haven't bought/tried the Ukramedia scripts yet. The Ukramedia scripts require the CC version of Adobe After Effects. I have the Adobe CS5.5 so will not run there, and my version is also dependent on Quick Time, which was recommended to be removed from systems years ago due to security issues, so AE eliminated itself before this deal occurred. Premeire Pro 5.5 (from CS5.5) is in a similar boat for me, since the audio VST blacklist required so much maintenance that I eventually wrote a script to rename my VST folders when launching PP. It defeated the purpose of using a program productively when you spend more time on workarounds. Adobe went down the path of making users choose to either allow Adobe to force them down a path of dependency or kick Adobe to the curb. One big selling point for CC was the interoperability between applications, but in recent years more and more competitors are accommodating this, some more seamlessly than others. -
https://shop.presonus.com/Fat-Channel-Collection-Vol-1-Plug-ins Seems no... Scroll down that page, the FREE versions are also VST3 host application compatible. Edit - Ironically, I just added all of the FREE ones to the cart, but already had all but the https://shop.presonus.com/Fat-Channel-Plug-in-Bundles-PreSonus-Bundle The individual ones it said I already have; but after checkout, it has those 4 individually for download.

+1, this may be overkill for many folks, but if/when the time comes it would be good to have (even at this version only). Rather than fumble with cheap alternatives and deciding later that you need more, you would already have something that can do a lot more and work your way up from the basics - not really any different from starting using CbB to make pod casts, then deciding to work orchestration one day. This is an awesome opportunity for someone who "might one day" get into video work without having to shell out big bucks... and in the event that it is just a flash in the pan (which is common to see), at least it wasn't a massive money investment for nothing. I had not heard of HitFilm before, but I already like the workflow to it, and seems pretty easy to start simple and shift gears into complex. All of the FX "just working" with the supported programs is just a nice bonus. Christian... your post popped up as I was typing... my suggestion would be working with Resolve until you hit a wall requiring an upgrade (goes for any program really). You may not ever miss it. -
I had never even used this before, but started a project before the update with it loaded and the previous Ampire vanished on that track after the update (the FX was there, but the GUI went blank on it). That might get people upset enough to get that fixed. These are definitely usable, especially for free, but the noise gate does stand out. The amp hum is nice, but you rarely want that in the track. It is consistent enough that noise reduction would remove it, but PreSonus doesn't have a capture/remove print tool (yet). That video could have been done better IMO. Fumbling through a GUI in 23 minutes isn't as nice as a direct presentation in 6. I didn't make it past the "mics must be by cab" part of it.

This was why Melda said they removed the ability to exclude 32-bit plugins. I assume they were getting support requests asking if users needed to install them or not.

I never liked the time it took to use an expresso machine, and a regular machine will make some pretty strong coffee if the beans are ground to dust. Just be careful of this if the machine has a fast brew rate, since dust will plug the filters quicker and take longer to drain. You won't get the last bit of water from the grounds without pressure, but a high percentage of the coffee is actually in the first cup from a regular pot (even without grinding to dust). If you want to be hard core and not worried about getting your teeth dirty, Turkish coffee is actually made with the grounds in the cup (often with cardamom). You can swirl them and drink them too, or let them settle out.

To clarify the OP, the title is a bit misleading, in that it is specifically for the MDE-X Multi-effects processor found in the Triton keyboards. Upside - all of the products are now on sale, including the Bundle of all products.
-
This is not so much the use of varispeed (workflow vehicle) as it is the change in formant (end result). MeldaProduction's MAutoPitch is part of their free FX bundle, and will tap into the formants directly without requiring a pitch shift. I would give that a try and see how the results work for your material.

First time ever I saw this message from Google Drive: "Sorry, you can't view or download this file at this time. Too many users have viewed or downloaded this file recently. Please try accessing the file again later. If the file you are trying to access is particularly large or is shared with many people, it may take up to 24 hours to be able to view or download the file. If you still can't access a file after 24 hours, contact your domain administrator." Mirror 1 actually gets a 2-4 MB/sec download rate, so not as low as I was expecting.

I have never seen the rpm spec on these, but own two and they come across as 5400rpm drives to me. They get power via the USB cable, are heavy, and don't pull high transfer speeds; but they are good for backup storage options.

That is weird... makes me wonder if the custom install settings are mucked up. I have never had an issue with it either, but I have never adjusted any of those settings. Some apps do not react well to cleaning utilities, especially if they store app-specific data in temp directories. Purging those directories may reset them to "default," which may be another issue for broken links. Not sure if that applies to Spitfire's app, but is a possibility.

+1, not only that but Luke shot me an email response immediately about the error with the bundle offers in the user's account section, and it was fixed the next day (last Friday). I am going to download this now to check out that MCCGenerator... that could make certain automation lanes a thing of the past.
