  1. India - Gal Costa (she got in a bit of trouble because of this album cover)
  2. I rip my own CDs to WAV files and put them on a drive. I put them in album folders and keep the track numbers first, so I can listen to an album with the tunes in order. I use the format 01, 02, 03, etc. so if there is more than 10 tracks, they still play in order. For a 2 CD set I put them in the same folder and start the second CD with the next track number available after the first one is ripped. My old car doesn't have a USB port, but it does have an aux jack. I have a digital Walkman with over 10,000 tones on it ripped from my CD collection. For the car I use mp3 files since there is so much road noise that super hi-fidelity is a waste. I drive a mini-van because doing one-nighters for a living, I need it to haul the PA, guitars, saxes, and synths around. Insights and incites by Notes

  10. While on the subject of Lambert, Hendricks and Ross: Jon Hendricks could spit out fast lyrics and still make them understandable better than anyone else I know of. Originally by Claude Cloud and His Thunderclaps, Jon added the words to the melody and ad-libs. Cloudbusrst - Lambert, Hendricks, & Ross
  11. I finally got to public school in 6th grade after we moved to Florida K through 6 at Catholic school. Actually K, 1, and 2 weren't bad, but the third grade was the year the nuns tried to destroy our spirit. So 3, 4, and 5 were miserable. The things they did back then would land them in jail today. I think it's a mistake to put older virgins in charge of minding children. Too many seem to take their sexual frustrations out but substituting violence against the children. I've had my knuckles slapped with the yard stick, bent over the teachers desk in front of the class and had my a s s whipped multiple times, and instead of breaking my spirit, it redirected my anger towards catholic school. But I recovered after we moved and my 6th grade public school teacher was a sweet woman. In 7th I got into the band and that changed my entire life for the better. Notes
  12. I'm getting them in Firefox, which doesn't run on the Chrome 'engine'. I think it's a copyright thing across International borders (someone correct me if that's a bad guess). Notes
