  1. Form outside the UK, didn't have a good experience myself
  2. Yep, I remembered and found it. When you posted it, I thought I should find my referal code for the newbies to help with the initial buy in to the Melda echosystem. Sales like this with the extra 20% are one of the best ways to do it.
  3. And for any new users that want 20% off on top of that, my referal code: MELDA31209027
  4. A tape sim seems long over due in the line up!
  5. 100th anniversary was almost 10 years ago. And the restoration has been around for at least 5 years. They used the same restoration for the new 4k box set as has been released downsampled to numerous BluRay releases over the past few years.
  6. I bought in for a 5th time to get the gear I'll never use, but at least that should remove any nag screens.
  7. Across 4 different Windows 10 computers over the past year. Thankfully I now own almost everything but the demo process was anything but enjoyable, getting it to work without the periodic noise was rare. And before and after the new AT updates that allegedly let you demo in the product. I realize that it isn't supposed to happen but 4 computers and before and after version releases suggests to me it isn't perfect. Once purchased no problems.
  8. Well that and very persistent frequent white noise that makes the demo close to worthless. It is supposed to only do this after a trial, but I did this with at least 7 products, even while keeping custom shop and install manager open. (I usually just bought it or made it as my freebie to get rid of the noise.) YMMV
  9. Yeah, that is what I thought is the case but unless it is actually "free" then it isn't a feature of the product offering as @Matthew Sorrels eloquently stated. I appreciate an affordable pricing model....but saying we never go on sale isn't a banner worthy claim.
  10. I've spent the last hr trying to make up my mind if they think never on sale means no discounts or if they are "not for sale" as in free. Also with new instruments released every week, and the piano is at something like 6 gigs, have to wonder about space.
  11. Listening to the demo it sounds like they were processed through amps already. Hopefully they have a DI option within the set?
  12. Yep I'm in the same boat. Upgrade price isn't anywhere close to what I'd want to spend given how little I've used GP3 (and it doesn't have a VST version to cross save settings). But at $30, I was going to do the upgrade.
  13. Nope, they took it away before I could pull the trigger.. ☹️
  14. You have to register by the end of October, then you have -30 days to make selections from what I understand.
  15. Yeah I did 4 buy ins to try to get everything to reduce the stress and still came up just a little short...
  16. It has been a mixed bag. Got lots of amazing products, but many hours of my life were wasted with stress of selections, telling people about the deal, checking every couple hours to see how the progress was coming along for more freebies, etc. Then there is the need for a new hard drive due to the monsterous size of all these products (coupled with the limited time to download everyhting before having to pay again) Still going through stress as a good friend hasn't had the time to go to the store and buy a physical product (the deal would be worthless for him without an interface) and it has gotten to the point that a shipment would be far to risky to not make the registration deadline.

Intersted to try this but also curious how the routing would actually work with Cakewalk. Have melodyne, but haven't been impressed with teh conversion for the price. JamOrigin is what I want but the $150 buy in is a little steap (used to be $99 and always hoped for a discount)
  18. I already have that one, but not sure it contains the grouping function, and I don't remember it having an exact setting for the level you want to hit. Might need to revisit.
  19. Looks like terrible authorization ilock cloud which requires constant internet connection or physical ikok. No local authorization. Hard pass on anything they make
  20. I'm partial to the Autority Echoes T7e mk ii (no ilok or invasive style DRM - just a license file tied to my name - displayed on the plugin) https://www.audiority.com/shop/echoes-t7e/
  21. Not an informed opinion, but in the little bit of research I did for reviews on this (they announced this was coming on social media a few days ago) the small consensus was pretty mixed. Not that it has all the bells and whistles, but I'm thinking about checking out Hornet's Normalizer for some of the same ideas at a $4 price point. https://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-thenormalizer/
  22. This is what always comes to mind....yet the OP plugin doesn't replicate the Binson Echorec, it was the first thing I checked with a delay plugin called Echoes....
  23. For those that don't know there is a also a stripped down version of this plugin via Computer Music Magazine "free" with purchase of the magazine. Audio Thing Orb CM
  24. Outside of waiting on a future group buy where yet to be released products would be included, I'd think now is the time to jump in. Especially if you don't have the amps/cabs/effects that are only available with MAX or individual purchase. The Two Dr Z amps in that catergory get more use from me than just about anything else. Since you need the matching cabs, those 2 amps take up 4 slots and so forth (HiWatt, ENGL Blackmore amp, and the Wampler and T-Rex pedals being some more). Amps are usually in the $25-35 range and the Cabs are like $10 a piece. These "premium brand" effects are also $25 each .
  25. The question raised isn't if it sound 100% like the guitar sampled. With all the talk in the video about the fact it is taken from a 75 Gibson branded SG with a specific set of pickups in it....don't seem nitpicky to discuss if it even really sounds like what we (some of us are guitar players not keyboard players) expect a guitar to sound like. They called the instrument a Guitar and go into detail about the specifc guitar used, etc. This thread reads the gamit of most realistic guitar sound from a keyboard to don't even sound like a guitar. This is hardly nickpicking when you have that kind of disparity.
