It doesn't matter if not everyone enjoys your music. I was once a very good drummer (and a mediocre pianist and organist and a terrible guitarist), but had an injury that stopped me from playing professionally and now, I still have the same high standards and play everything terribly and can only play drums for less than a minute before I'm in pain, but I still play and whereas I was playing mid-size concert venues back in the day, now if a few friends like something, I'm pretty happy about it! You have lots of us who appreciate and enjoy you and everything you do, Reid. Keep having fun. It doesn't matter if some people don't appreciate you or your music, lots of us do appreciate you. Last year, when I attempted to play music again 21 years after an injury stopped me from playing professionally, my son asked me what my objective was. I'm a middle-aged man who is no longer a proficient musician, I wouldn't even call myself a musician anymore, I'm a guy who used to be a musician, a long time ago. My objective is just to have an outlet for expression. It's art. It doesn't need to have a commercial purpose. I think everyone should look at creating art -- draw, paint, make music, sing, dance, make music, make crafts -- it doesn't matter if anyone else wants to listen to or buy what you have. But even if one of other person appreciates your art, I think that's wonderful. Lot's of us appreciate your creativity, Reid. Keep it up!
Hey I suck at everything. I have projects that might survive up to 8 measures.

I'm starting to get turned off with more proprietary players and download managers.

And I’ve got some unused Waves synth serials of Codex and Element 2 to swap.
That's like a hooker with syphilis thinking it will go away by passing it on to a partner..

Either this expired or you need a paid Avid product.

I'm one that believes if you spend that kind of money on an instrument you should play it first. I'd still be cautious of Gibsons qulaity control.

$49 on anything other than food and fuel is not wise and have to pass. I have Ujam and AAS Guitars and never bothered to use any of them.

I wonder if this is an example of offering free stuff when a website tossed out your old account because the web developer can't figure out a way to retain old accounts.

Meh.
Same here. Definite meh on the Arturia scale. Like what's stopping anyone doing this with any piano library.

I have most of the full versions of these. If you are into bloat this is for you. You will eventually find these have little use unless you are deliberate about using them.

Dislike Engine.

Melda everything users already have this one for some time. It's bloated.

S1, Cubase, Mixbus aren't posting here directly.
If I subscribe to receiving update notices from a developer then knowledge of what is being referred to can be assumed.
If I'm posting information to people who may be unaware of what I'm talking about a bit of description is helpful.2nd point is absurd. Not being aware of a product has nothing to do with technical competence.
Some in the world of Linux are delusional or annoying.

Sorry - realize that my reply might come off as rude.
But you shouldn't have to follow a link just to find out if it's something that might interest you.
In this case the link posted is to an update page that still doesn't say what Ardour is until over a page length down (yeah you might guess it's a DAW but it also could be a sample manager).Ardour is an open-source DAW supporting Linux, macOS and Windows.
So typical of Linux developers.

I've let go of my self entitlement in regards to paid-for plugins which are now free. Not to say that I won't ever feel cross, but I can't begrudge someone who got something for free where I have paid for it. And I can't fault a company who canges their marketingplan. I love the Kilohearts ecosystem and the way they now give A LOT of value to producers is commendable. So I paid a bit 'too much' in retrospect. I could have made my lunch at home this morning instead of going out and save a couple of bucks to offset this financial blow, but I didn't, so...
I bought some of their REs for Reason but now all v1 plugins are free.

Larry's alive. Other forum members have reported seeing him post online elsewhere. A forum mod here stated that Larry is free to return at any time, so it's his choice.
Time to move on, I suppose.
Not recently. He was also active in KVR.

Title makes no sense. It's basically developers who don't have sales. XFer is one. There is also Reaper
Image Line never celebrates BF because they are from Belgium.
Large developers have more overhead so they have to do them.
The ones who don't have sales also don't raise their prices either.

They made a study proving that we get dumber than previous generation ... the study by itself prroves it ... since it evident by just talking to people and watching the news ...
The fact that they had to do a studynproves the level of dumb’ess ahaha
Unfortunately those that run the studies are stupid people. Honesty is impossible because money is involved.
My rants are about the consumer. Those who make the phone apps for the grocery chains I'm pretty sure they never used it in the stores. People who buy groceries online get to park closer to the store. They don't walk in and that means no additional sales from that person.
Some of the so called Smart technology is an oxymoron.
We went way off topic.
All of your larger developers never seem to run out of sales.
I don't need anymore stuff. If I were to but more not needed plugins I would go with Hornet.

I dropped Prime with the last price increase. Just didn't seem worth it anymore.
Prime should be under Undeals. It's a crapshoot if the delivery goes to the right place.

I just paid for the for DRM free version on Gog. I might as well have the game on all 3 platforms. I don't have to deal with DRM login on GOG.

Still didn t heard from PA and all my account is usless more than 60 plugins , open 3 tikets , nothing after one week ...
loyalty and PA in the same sentence seems to no sound well in my ears ...
Starting to think that what i wrote is exactly happening ... " today it s russian , tomorow it s gonna be chineses , iraniens , the non vaccinated , then what , people that simply express a diff point of you ..)
I hope i m wrong and pa is simply short in people to respond ... but my feeling is different , email to suuport and people i used to email from beta team and all ... everthing silence radio ...
Again like softube did for exemple : refusing to sell to russian is your right , making what you purchased unusable is an illegal move ....and by the way did i say that i m not russian , right ?
Making a rant on Facebook is usually a good start.
I guess developers think people should overthrow their governments in order to use the plugins.
There is no shortage of plugins these days. Blacklist PA and use alternatives.

I picked up Fallout 4 (2015) nearly 5 years ago in 2018 from Humble Bundle, but it turned out to be a Steam key. Tons of fun for $14.99 & reasonable system requirements for the day. Not too excited about Steam though...
Never played Fallout 3 (2008), but would definitely recommend 4. Unfortunately, GOG only seems to carry Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout 3.
BTW, Fallout 3 is on sale at Steam for $2.49, Fallout 4 is $4.99, Fallout: New Vegas is $2.49, all until October 18th.
You would love Fallout 3. It takes up only 8gb. The only reason 4 is not available is because the DRM has not been removed. I have 76 but haven't played it yet. New Vegas was meh. Fallout 4 has mods.

Doesn't bloat your drive, no boutique graphics card needed, still great to play.
When older games are on sale I like to buy non Steam versions of the same game DRM free.
