  1. Which one did you get? The code has to come from PSam.
  2. I guess the best use for this is to learn it and make your own cinematic sounds. There are plenty of patches that other synths can do. I'm finding that these AAS synths with additional patches don't seem to play well with other synths and are fine if you only use that synth. Using them out of the box seem inferior to Sylenth, Spire, and Serum.
  3. It's there. The two plugins that you think would be removed are installed. Waves licensing is far from generous. Upgrades remove the license upgraded so you can't install it an another machine.
  4. You wont. Image Line keeps their shop separate. This is basically a one time deal.
  5. I prefer to donate to an organization designed for such things instead of getting products for a certain amount. Too many middle men.
  6. Nope. I've had issue in the past if you didn't plug something in the same USB port. I probably should have plugged it in first. If you read the manual even driver updates you are suppose to unplug all devices. It was probably more of a Windows issue. Even changing the Window sound to onboard it wouldn't close the UR since it's ASIO. Removing it from hardware and installing the drivers was a fix.
  7. The only patch I liked was the last one. This library would take some work to make it sound convincing but great for non orchestral work.
  8. These are decent if you need midi samples for song starters. 2 piano midi packs cost me $3. They are nice.
  9. I would think some presets on Mixbox are for the final steps in production where you can kick up the buffer size. BTW I haven't even used this yet. I also have Melda MXXX.
  10. https://xferrecords.com/products/serum BTW it took 3 plugin scans for this to show up in Cakewalk.
  11. I think people often miss that music can be used for personal entertainment than entertaining. I have a bunch of real interments around the house and I will probably never play them in front of an audience I still enjoy them. Comments I often see are "You'll never make it as a producer if you......"
  12. Acid still has a following. If it had a separate window for midi editing it would be great. I still use Soundforge instead of RX7 because I'm use to it. I have Vegas but rarely touch it. It use to be popular as a mixing environment. I like what Sony did by keeping the GUIs similar. I still have those Sony tutorial series which were $99 back in the day. They did tutorials right since they had the project files with them. The use to make money on their loops which are top notch. The ones from Magix are inferior and have odd licensing. When they went away some went to Mixcraft. There's a deal in the Samplitude upgrade for $149 that comes with Soundforge. If they threw in Acid as part of the package I'm in.
  13. https://yurtrock.com/products/the-complete-battery-kit-bundle Worth it.
  14. I can't think of 4 I would want without it being another EQ, compressor, never used channel strips. I have a lot of their stuff.
  15. You did. No real explanation for that price. It's a 5 foot distance lap dance for plugin hoarders.
  16. I'd never get there. Add Komplete, Arturia, Sampletank, Reason Studios. It seems disk space for vintage synths doesn't appeal to me. I've deleted most of my UVI libraries.
  17. No WUP and install on 3 machines. Now if Waves gone full PA...........
  18. Pricey for a synth rompler upgrade. I'd go for that Image Line bundle instead.
  19. That's how I got my AXE I/O.
  20. I used it to record sounds using onboard audio. The other editors used my audio interfaces.
  21. It seems their upgrades are never in the must have category. They supposedly retained some of the former Sony staff but you wouldn't know it. I think the only upgrade in Acid was so you can click and buy loops. Great another iTunes.
