I've read the firmware updates solved this.
It seems that with other manufacturers that 4TB drives seem to have a higher failure rate than smaller drives.

I guess this is the next step once you've mastered your DAWS and VSTs. You could mess around with Linux distros.

It's a testament to the direction of development these days. If these things are part of reducing piracy I'd say it probably promotes it. I get it if you are Waves,NI, or IK who sells huge bundles. I like direct downloads and will probably only support developers do that.

You have to wonder though how many other plugin companies are not increasing sales due to too much stuff out there. Meanwhile the working guy who takes his laptop into a dance venue just uses everything built into Live.
There's a lot of great plugins out there that are never updated because they made it right the first time.
But lemme guess that the slots for using this voucher isn't a deal because the amount of $39 plugins you would buy with it can't be used and the next slot is a much higher amount. It has that NI ring to it.
Meh. Somehow I miss that 5 second window. It also takes more than 5 secs to copy an 80gb file.
