Just a warning about investing $$$ in VSL. If your dongle breaks down or gets lost you have to pay 50% of what you put in to get your licenses back. The 2 year dongle protection plan is $70, basically a mob envy.
The pricing is not that great for what it is, also few updates between releases. I've had a license ever since it came out. V9 is it for me. I never use it.
I could make that case for any DAW. This one is on the cut list. The workflow totally blows for me. It's one of those DAWs I can't really get into. Also to me it's pricey for a license for what it is.
You'd think a developer could figure that out and incorporate it in their product. This solution isn't worth my time or worth giving a developer money.
I could clear about 3gb of drive space by removing x86 VST plugins folder. The biggest culprit is NI plugins. Some developers have an uninstall for 32 bit. Anyone have issues by removing 32 bit by deleting them? Other vendors in my 32 bit folder are Waves and Izotope. I have no need for them anymore.
Kudos for IK for fixing my dilemma. Of course it will happen again if the next target is reached. I'm sure others will experience it. IK really stretched themselves out.
My other rant is micro usb ports on their controllers. They are in love with them. I will never buy any controller from any manufacture that uses those ports.
