  1. Way too many situations of people driving the wrong, even on major highways. I don't get that. They also took Drivers Ed out of public schools in favor of making kids more efficient in math and science. Car insurance is high where I live. It costs more than when I lived in the Chicago suburbs. Maybe those reckless drivers thought they had the virus and hurried for medical attention. I fear walking in our local grocer parking lot. I think the elderly have this attitude of screw you pedestrians.
  2. How many of you have reduced your drive storage? I was thinking is using a few 1TB SSDs and removing stuff I never use. Much of Komplete never gets used like their string libraries. I have Live 10 Suite and most of it is old stuff never updated. The Suite library takes up 60GB. One of my systems has a few 2TB drives and I have EWHO Gold and my VSL collection on a 500GB SSD. I thought maybe I should remove stuff and if I need it put it back on a drive. I can really pay for 2TB SSDs and the 1TB seem to be on sale more often.
  3. I live in an area of bad drivers. I think my chances of dying as a pedestrian are far greater.
  4. I remember when you could buy entry level DAWs at places like Best Buy that came with midi to game port cables. I never got them to work. I still have all of my old PC hardware. My Yamaha SW1000XG is a doorstop. If I have the space I would slap together an old Athlon system and run W2000. I could run Sonar 2 and Gigastudio 2.5. Voyetra Digital Orchestra Pro was a cool DAW back then. My Novation mini series can be chained.
  5. I can't imagine anyone paying 92 or even 27 that close to abandonware.
  6. The EW libraries, B4, Pro 53 are still valued. The rest would tick me off if I wanted to break out my Athlon XP hardware and run Windows 2000. I still have those Garritan box sets. It's annoying to see those cluttering Native Access as if it weren't annoying enough.
  7. But will my 750Ti run it? 32GB of drive space. That's a lot of drive space just to make it look pretty.
  8. I didn't realize that it was until Live 10 they offered VST3 support.
  9. This one's easy to avoid. All of my VIs not from Waves are not tied to a machine unless it's Steinberg.
  10. I guess it depends on the installer. I had my IK VST3 plugins in Program Files\Common Files\VST3\TR5. I was wondering the same thing as the OP when it came to using VST2 or 3.

    SSD 5

? SSD4 had a more friendly authorization. Definitely a no buy.
  12. Not available in FL or Reason either. Live I think uses a GM soundset so you wont have a clue how it sounds in Spire. I don't think Acid does either. When I buy some presets I usually open up Bandlab. I hate the plugin management in Mixcraft. Most DAWs I just scroll down to what I need. I like how some do it my manufacturer. The worst thing about Mixcraft is some of their forum members. Suggest improvements and the responses from users are quite stupid even the one I suggested that led to these Mixcraft videos. Then there's some of us who don't read a manual and that where the real learning is. I need to change that behavior.
  13. LOL something for the delusional Linux users to come up with another lame excuse to use Linux. They get so deep into themselves they make the worst webpages ever. At least it doesn't look like the copied FL Studio.
  14. I'm compressor ***** but I did like Shadow Hills. I wonder if I should get this or wait so I don't have 474,981 compressors.
  15. Doesn't everyone? I guess Waves would run out of those "days" for their sales.
  16. They did have a DAW . It was Tracktion. I don't think people will forget. Bad idea on their part.
  17. I wish it wasn't I went for it. I read the posts about Babylon on KVR. The FL packs and FL tutorials where the clincher. Usually the Serum wavetables can be used in other synths.
  18. Looks like the code no longer works.
  19. The old T-Bird and Athlon heat sinks were the best way to destroy a motherboard. Then Intel got stupid with the push pin coolers. Despite having insecurity issues putting those Intel ones on they were just as good and sometimes better than 3rd party coolers.
