I've had a license of Tracktion up to V9. I don't really care for it. They seem to crank out more paid upgrades, instruments in a short period. If it's not your main DAW than can get expensive. A license of Reaper is less than an upgrade. No comparison there. I've upgraded Mixcraft for $29. If you want to make something with loops Tracktion is a headache. If you look a compare versions, Free is not fully featured.

I have all of the libraries. You can get lost in those presets.

I'm pretty much that way with all drum VSTs these days. Nothing new under the sun.

Kinda bad news for me. PA will have a deal and I will acquire another VST. If it wasn't for PA I would have never gotten Thorn but it was $24.

Designed to blur the lines between acoustic instruments and hybrid effects I need to remind myself this is something we can do on our own. I'd hate to be a developer trying to sell right now.

I learned how to play all of the traditional orchestra instruments. Bowed instruments are far more difficult when you are older. I'd love to have a bassoon. I'm older to and all of the stuff I've gotten, learning is overwhelming. Much of it is software.

So far no. I have non proprietary equivalents as it is. No a fan of stuff that is installed in My Music folder either.

Never a fan of refurbished unless it's an instrument. Also overpriced for something not designed to last. High risk IMO.

I'm a fanboy but I can't afford their gear. If I wasn't so ignorant at the time when I shelled out $500 for a Yamaha SW1000XG and went with a Hammerfall it would still be used.

that is the FS version..... the orignal is no longer there. It was on my wishlist. No matter how great they are for me to spend that kind of money would be ridiculous

I got a whole lot of DAW stuff to audition and a lot of it free. Maybe to add to it I could just get that Pro Tools trial. I'm losing income next week. I may be force to create some music or play an instrument. That may be harder on me than getting the virus.
