I never understood how people apply these "theories" to software. It was a shit business move by both parties. It appears the majority in this thread are not happy. I've seen many developers reduce the price of a current version and let you know a new version is coming up. Reason Studios just did a 30% off and get Reason 12 for free if you bought version 11. No matter how you try to size up by price paid, throw in the word "entitlement", it was a shit business move. There would be less complaints if it were buy this version for this amount of money and get the new version free. In reality I should not let their business decision bother me. It's just another app that I rarely use. It's these type of actions that create more enemies than friends. I will just add them to a list of cautionary purchases.

Most vocal libraries are limited. It's best to buy loops these days. You can throw those in Kontakt.

Maybe they have some ignorance in the world of the competitive market of DAW software. I know I feel duped. When my vouchers run out I may take myself off the PA list. While I never bothered to mess with it but Image Line may have something similar that is free for everyone.

Drive space is not cheap either. It depends on what other stuff you have. If you have plenty of drum VIs do you really need to install the Abbey Roads. The same goes for the pianos. As for strings I removed most of them. I have VSL, EW, 8Dio and who knows what else in that category.

Their older stuff is packaged in their player at $29 each. I think they are probably worth it. IF I could do it over again I would have bought these than the old Sonivox stuff.

Purchase by paranoia. BTW unlikely to happen.

Bluetooth sucks compared to cables. I've always kept a collection TRS to RCA since I've used M-Audio AP2496and still use them.

I have them and they are worth the $199 when space is an issue.

Just like every new synth that comes out.
