What's the warranty on these things? I'd assume these are the "RME" of chairs. Buying one would get far more use than buying chairs for $100 over a time that claim 6-8 hours of daily use which is about right for small pets.
Overrated for me. It's like marketing has to replace the 808's. I guess users think those are really cool to make sounds from scratch but they will only impress your DAW buddies. Reason to me was always modular. Reaktor was an early modular environment. It seems modular may be more popular in the hardware environment.
At what point does the reinventing the wheel of drum libraries stop for the end user? I could see getting the midis but I wouldn't know a tremdous difference if I used the basic Toontrack kit. I would notice if I ran those midis on a great metal kit.
Another why did I buy this, I'm more into the electronic scene. I'm not a fan of big bloated drum packages and I have not downloaded all of my MDrummer library. I guess it was a $50 no brainer that no brains were used in this decision.
I read the list of these changes and it's like trying to read a different language. Most of it is beyond my comprehension. I think it is the best DAW out there but so far I've never gotten deep into it.
I never buy a cup of coffee. I have enough K cups, ground, and whole bean. Just like this library I have enough to do the same thing. I also wouldn't pay 5.50 for a cup of coffee. Comparing DAW deals to food just doesn't make sense. Both can contribute to bloat but one is easier to delete.
I could save you all time. Music for wellness begins by not using a DAW. No more GAS but then again it just transfers to owning multiple instrument. My estate sale would think someone opened up a music store.
I prefer Kontakt libraries since you can install them on every machine that has Kontakt. UVI is like the only developer I know of that allows 3 iLok licenses.
I wouldn't call this a deal. I'd be afraid to spent that kind of money on something I consider delicate. They should start throwing in 4 pairs of those ear cushions because those eventually wear out and those aren't cheap.
