Remind me again, which is better, "deeply sampled" or "sampled in exquisite detail"? If I'm going to have the piano take up 75GB on my hard drive I want to have whichever one is better.
I've done a few compares patch vs patch. So far I mostly prefer the AT5 version, but there are some exceptions. For example on the patch, "Back In Red", it sounds fuller in AT5 but has more bite in AT4. At least using my guitar.
I don't know if this helps, but with my Komplete Audio 6, I was not getting any sound either. I use a mic into input 1 (L) and guitar to input 2 (R). Swapping the inputs on the Audio/Midi settings page worked for me.
I hadn't received mine either. Went into my account and saw that I was not receiving emails from them! So much crap from everyone else that I did not realize I hadn't seen anything from them in a long time.
The Replika effects are pretty sweet though.
Replika GR has a different feature set than either Replika or Replika XT. It is a single delay but has all the delay modes of XT. It doesn't have all the modulation modes, only offering a pitch modulation.
Replika Shimmer does shimmer reverb/delay effects, and does them very well.
If you had left it at the afternoon of 16th, some people might have complained, but most would have understood.
I'm sure you meant "it's the 15th somewhere" as a joke, but the joke fell flat and a lot of people read it as being weaselish.
There are a lot of sounds in this one that don't seem to work right at first. These instruments depend on the mod wheel, and adjusting that controller can give some results that are more interesting than just filter sweeps.
