I don’t think I’ve ever said anything overtly political here, but can’t let this go. Is the Ukranian gov’t as pure as the driven snow? I am sure not. Has there been an ongoing proxy war (including the Russians) going on in the Donbass for some years, during which many have unjustly suffered? I don’t doubt that for a minute. But the suggestion that the purpose of the Russian invasion is to protect the Russian speaking people in Ukraine is a total crock of Russian propaganda. The city of Kharkiv is a predominantly Russian speaking area, which Putin is doing his best to level to the ground. The parents of a close friend of mine are currently on the run from there. I can assure you they do not consider Mr Putin their savior.

I’ve got to admit I’m pretty much in over load mode. I already have a few of these multi-effect do-dads. Is there really something different that this one does that is musically significant? Another “tool” is not sufficient. The tool shed is overflowing and each added one increases the time I spend looking for the “right” one. Not intended as a rant, (and certainly not against Fleer)?

I remember when 2 came out, there were a few installation bugs…has that been resolved? And do I have to reinstall all the sounds?

The Warm Audio mics are quality pieces. For their price, they certainly give you a nice taste of the classics.

…and the sound…??

I’m not abandoning running my rig as Administrator for a freebie that I really don’t need. YMMV

I assume it’s trying to do a similar thing to IK’s Sunset Studios, but with a different studio. Is it any good?

A bit disappointed that REX files not recognized. Was hoping it would pick up my ancient Nine Volt Audio stuff.

Good guys. I remember they gave away the old JB stuff before they became Toneboosters.
-
True. Could be worse though. At least they’re allowing for machine-based licensing.

I tried InMusic version, but then switched back to the last FXpansion version, which works pretty well…albeit with some of its characteristic wonkiness. I would only recommend the InMusic version to those willing to take a flyer that they might eventually get it right. The only reason we are even still talking about BFD3 is that it truly sounds great.

Oddly enough, Program Manager updated only some of my EZKeys MIDI packs.

Doesn’t like REX files.

Got it. But Cosmos is only a standalone, correct? It’s not appearing on my list of plugins.
-
I find it kind of useful actually, given the current semi-chaotic status of my samples. Does buying the $10 sampler make Cosmos useable within my DAW?

Would be nice to get a 20th anniversary CPU fix.

Theory seems to work for any 3. I was missing Echo, Phase and Valve….total price was $75 in cart.
-
This pretty much does the same thing as Soundtoys Devil-Loc, correct?
-
I occasionally slice up stuff like this for intros, fills or seasoning in stuff that I’m doing (jazz, rock or free form) that is usually fairly hard edged to start with. YMMV

I know I’m in the minority here, but I find most of the EZKeys MIDI (not all, but including the new Folk set) to have the inspirational quality of elevator music.

Advise doing the free trial before purchase. This crashes the latest Studio One Pro on two different Lenovo Windows 10 Pro computers I have. OTOH others have apparently not had this problem with S1. Note that S1 is not one of the DAWs supported by Relab.
