It's this version specifically. I have tried everything. There's no setting for it to lock in. I drop a few f-bombs everytime.

Best DAW support ever! What i was asking and seek clarity on was -- if you manually enabled archive too? Don't mean automatically like it say in the OP. Just had a lengthy conversation about this the other day too with another member after countless questions when we discovered these bugs with Archive Tracks. But perhaps @msmcleod might be able to help if you send the project file to him after/when he respond to this.
-
? What!? ? Young only opted now to be Amazon ("Amazing.")
-
Those tracks your want to hide, are they archived? Cause theres a bug with that when hidding tracks.

Lol! You mistake me for someone else. You're the one crying and b___ing about it every time. Not everyone can afford an interface like you nd me. So telling them to get one isn't helping them, thats breaking their spirit! Use your head. If you "really" want to help be nicer and look at the available options which they have. Either "WASAPI" or Asio4All which almost every other DAW out there (thats not free) offers the user. Have a great day.
-
And just why do you feel offended by my suggestion? Do you here me mentioning you in my replies to everyones conversation? Everyone has their own experience and fixes to certain things that works for many, but fo some not. Everyone is here to help everyone, but you feel like you own the DAW everytime someone gives a reply. Time to grow up. I have Asio4All running with my UMC22 on with my laptop with NO! known issues what so EVER! Focursrite Gen2 with my Surface Studio - that sits now in my study. My studio runs Mac going on 8 months with an Apollo twin. I'm helping because I had never had any problems with ASIO4ALL period. Why? Because ASIO4ALL works 100% with an Interface. I have done DEMO recordings for major record labels using ASIO4ALL with no problems. Grow up. People out there make music with what they have and not everyone can afford an interface or any gear. Enjoy your day.

Have you tried to choose an output device? Like your realtek device or Audio Interface if you have one. Click Edit > Preferences Under the Audio section on the left, click on Playback and Recording From the "Driver Mode" dropdown select ASIO or WASAPI and then click Apply Under the Audio section on the left, click on Devices Make sure your Integrated Integrated audio card is selected under both inputs and outputs. If it appears grayed out, deselect all drivers, in both inputs and outputs, then select your Integrated Integrated audio card. Click Apply. Under the Audio section on the left, click on Driver Settings Make sure one of your Integrated Integrated audio drivers is selected as "Playback Timing Master". It is best to select the output that you have speakers or headphones connected to. Click Apply and then OK Finally, all audio playback will occur from the Integrated Integrated audio device. Make sure you have your speakers or headphones connected to its outputs

There's actually a better way, but it sounds like you're looking for bigger clocks. Time Window.mp4

Honestly, I've never use this feature. I played with it once and if my memory serves me correct, it grabs or removes (cut or delete) the "highlighted" information out of the clip section, leaving the clip intact without splitting it. To wana paste it you have to guide the cursor on the timeline and then paste where you want it. For me: highlighting a section within the clip and then pressing Ctrl while dragging works better |OR| highlighting while holding down left mouse click to delete. Infact this reminds to do a request.

Yep. Those are the M1active MKII. Great sound. Those were based on the Alesis Monitor 2: which is a 3-way speaker. Alesis Monitor 2: Specs i believe is 45Hz - 20KHz
-
Do you have the "MKII" of the M1 actives? Cause they are scarce. Great sounding monitors indeed.

Mackie CR4 are multimedia speakers not really studio monitors, but they sound great. Not monitors I would think of buying. If you are looking for better than CR4's get the M-Audio BX5 D3 or the Tannoy reveal 502 or the Presonus Eris 5. All these are in the same price range with great details. The M-Audio BX5 will blow your mind.

Behringer XR18 Asio Driver no longer recognized by cakewalk
Will. replied to Greg Morris's question in Q&A
Could you try to reinstall the driver (as administrator?) -
Here's a lengthy detailed explanation on how it works. http://forum.cakewalk.com/m/tm.aspx?m=3549983&p=1

I don't know if its from the screenshot, but your sends seems to be disabled. I'm also going to assume that "A" on your output is Bus A? Everything seems to be looking right. What are you sending to Aux 1&2
-
What happens if you take arm off?
-
Wouldn't hurt if you try and change it. Do you have a send to your reverbs? I see you have it in the FX chain.
-
Mic inputs are almost everytime INPUT 1. Seems like you have it on Input 2.

I always used to get excited when the Feedback loop and Early Access section would prompt new bold letters when theres new topics and releases. Lately though, its just been the web installer and old ideas - which are great of course. I guess 2021.22.102 was it. We have everything we need, no more feature ideas. ? Not even suggestion pop up ? guess it's a wrap. On a serious note: There's really not much left that's needed other than maybe just improvement on what there is already and maybe one or two features that other daws are busy adapting. Literally there's nothing needed anymore (we're not talking about a sampler for now.) The Bakers really deserve an Award for all their hard work and commitment for bringing this product to the clouds.

? Exactly. I understood what they've meant from their very first announcement. It's even it the article i've posted above. The company said: they give everyone 24months to check all their projects and advice everyone to replace vst2 versions with Vst3 versions. Clearly this was meant for members across all the available products the company "Steinberg" owns and not beyond its borders. Like Mark stated: It has nothing to do with the host, but mainly Developers of these vsts on license agreement only. DAWS will still be able to run them - just not new comers since the announcement and all new purchases will be in VST3. I might be wrong, but I think i remember reading somewhere that waves dropped Vst2 already. I wonder what holds VST4 in stores for us ?
-
I think the confusion comes in where Steinberg said that the company already dropped their own Vst2 plugins for Vst3 versions in all their products.

Good to know, thanks. Yeah, the missing bass ports were of concern too. I believe they have an extra speaker built-in at the back? I'll see if I can get them in a well treated room for some tests.
-
I actually had a listened to them just before the pandemic started. Great sounding, but through countless of listening tests in a well treated room. I find that their low midrange have not enough detail in them with some space missing and upper midrage a bit hyped . Their highs are crisp though, with great detail. They're actually toe-to-toe with the JBL 308 to me. All-in-all, They are a great pair of monitors though. Thanks.

I'm looking to upgrade from my KRK Rokit 6 monitors (which i had for 6 years) to any of these, which just happens to be in my budget price range. Does anyone own a pair perhaps and what are your thoughts on them? I have read a few reviews on them and they're not bad. I'm only used to Yamaha's, M-Audio's (which I owned before) Eve's, Samsons and Presonus, from the various studios i had worked in and visited with the majority with KRK systems - I guess its the "standard." KRK'S are great dont get me wrong, I'm just looking for "different," that's perhaps better with a more precise (as in balanced) flat response and not too overly bass heavy. A nice clean sounding pair of monitors.
