  1. You don't list what you're using for drums. EZDrummer (ToonTrack) has Latin Percussion (been around a while so you'll see some good sales) and Latin Cuban Percussion (newer so not in discount yet I don't think). I have Latin Percussion and find it very useful, comes with a good midi package. I suspect most VSTi "Drummers" will have some Latin Percussion. Not sure on the Afro side... t follow the link in my sig My Reel below, in the tune Devil's Bed I used some TT Latin Percussion.
  2. I would have had nothing to gain locking it to 16... t
  3. I wavered on which link to post. Blazing Saddles is a classic, but Mel ripped off a lot of great westerns to make it! t
  4. I think you've added the "dimension" you were looking for; ?. As always great songwriting and strong performances throughout; ?. t If I might make a small suggestion? Solo starts at ~ 2:14, the second trip thru ~ 2:29, I'd go to the IV instead of repeating the verse progression. I'm not suggesting you go back and change it! That's what I would have lobbied for in pre-production... Overall another GREAT Barry Seymour production!
  5. I had forgotten that. Where does our buddy Danny hang his hat these days? I miss him... t
  6. I was wrong on hitting 16k at 9pm, I was wrong at my prediction of 16k total. But on that its good to be king er wrong! t we all know there's only one King! how are we getting by without him?
  7. This is a good question! Occasionally in the past, some had issues; right?
  8. Oh NO! A thousand times NO!! I can't take another "counter watch" ? ?
  9. My Master Buss is routed to the ARC Buss. ARC is routed to the monitors. In my case Adam A-7’s. All exports are taken from the Master. That way I don’t forget to turn ARC off. I learned the “hard way”. t
  10. Long time ARC user; have the 1, 2, and now 3 mic (mems started with ARC 2.5?) t
  11. Jumped over to BandCamp and got a two-fer. (this and I See Your Face) Enjoyed the listen. t

Aptly titled! or a tripy journey... ?'s Bjorn from me t btw, on some Bose wireless here, tend to hype the bass, I don't find it lacking. Now if you wanted a "throbbing" bass in it, but I don't hear a "bass" line that should be....
  13. Its Jesse Screed Well done Jesse! t uRKnotIt I'm not?
  14. @Jacques Boileau Maybe my "guess" was ambiguous, but I think I was "in" with 16. t just sayin'...
  15. I'll try to keep this brief. Mic > Pre > Line input Each of the "Pres" in my rack offer some form of "unique color" (for want of a better explanation) Any of the mics I use could go straight into the RME pres and work just fine. LDC, Ribbon, Dynamic; plenty of "clean" gain. All "coloration" could be done "virtually" in CbB with VST's. When I was using the L22, the "modeling" software was looking for "matched" pres, and the RME pres were perfect. There is a block diagram in the RME manuals, for all models I think. (page 116 of the UCX II manual pdf) HTH, t
  16. but losing that bet is a good thing!
  17. 6:30 EDT and we've hit a "wall"? Come on guys, I guesstimated 16k by 9pm.... t
  18. The 8 line ins on my UFX are mostly mic pres: uAudio LA-610: go-to for vocals and bass Great River MP-500: vocals 2 AEA RPQ-500: for my AEA R88, stereo acoustic guitar NEVE 517 500: vocals, direct in guitar/bass I've done some "down sizing" the past year. I had a Sphere L22 that went into mics 1-2 on the UFX. Frankly I prefer the TLM 103 > LA-610. I was under the impression that the L22 could also do a "stereo" capture; not so much... HTH, t
  19. Shouldn't this be titled Another Amplitube 5 Update ? t
