John, I used a Q-tip and sprayed DeoxIT 5 on it and wiped the insides of the output jacks. I also wiped DeoxIT on a 1/4 in male jack and placed it in the Output jack and twisted it back and forth and pushed it in and out to touch all of the contact points inside.

Ooops, sorry, I didn't have my glasses on, I thought it was the thumbs up emoji. Great news, It's fixed!! Doing what was done in the video to fix the Big Knob worked!! There is no more static or crackle sounds coming from my Big Knob controller. The music is coming from both sided of all 3 sets of monitors evenly. Thanks for some of the great suggestions on which DeoxIT to purchase and how to apply it to fix the problem.

No sure, but I sure hope I did after watching the last video. It's a newer model in the video, but spraying it with contact cleaner should work. My DeoxIT was just deliverd, whoohooo!

This is great, but it does not have a level meter. I love the partial wood exterior, but I would like to have a level meter included.

Mettelus, I did not remove the cover because I didn't want to mess up anything internal. What I did was spray DeoxIT onto a Q-Tip and then wipe the inside of the Big Knob 1/4 inch female ports and the wiped the ends of my 1/4 inch cables.

Hello All, My Mackie Big Knob Monitor Controller (Original) is biting the dust after having it for such a long time. It's time to find something new to connect 3 sets of monitors, manage my inputs and my head phone mixes. When I turn up the Big Knob to increase the output for all of my monitors, I receive a crackle sound and have to sweep the Big Know back and forth several times to make it go away. The next day when I come back, the crackle sound is back as well and I have to sweep the Big Knob again. The same goes for my input connectors, I have to wiggle them for inputs to be quiet at times. I have used “DeoxIT” several times but it hasn't helped fully. What affordable suggestions do you have for UP to $500.00?

Hello Alan, from what I could see fro the preview videos, everything looks great, however, in the preview videos I didn't encounter english subtitles. Also, if you could make thest in english, I truly believe your sales would increase. I am trying to learn Studio One now and if your videos were in english, I would have bought the Studio One Course. Krishna, How did it go with the M-Audio interface? have you expierienced any problems using it with CbB?

You can uninstall Kontakt 7 and then reinstall it if you are having problems with it. Go to control Panel > Programs and Features > look for Kontakt 7 and unintall it. Restart the computer and then go to Native Access and you will see it there to reinstall again. Make sure the path is correct to the location where it tshould be installed. Good Luck because I have no computer technical skills whatsoever ?
