  1. And doesn't Rippled Editing handle this?
  2. You can break it by having 2 dll's with near identical long filenames that "collapse" to the same 8.3 filename (barring the number at the end: ~1, ~2 etc) and depending on the order you move the dll's into the scanned folder, the 8.3 filenames swap round. Yes, I've had this happen, but it's easy to fix with some judicious file moving and renaming (I may have gone via a drive with 8.3 naming disabled on to ensure the file was "clean" - I forget).
  3. Very enjoyable - it's got a bit of a 90's video game vibe to it (in a good way, mind) mixed with some instrumental prog. I was waiting a bit long for it to move into the groove, but then I'm guilty of very long intros too so I shouldn't complain (just being impatient I think).
  4. I've always found Fender/style basses do this, so it's not just you. I hate their sound (OK, there are some exceptions where that works, but precious few in my opinion).
  5. Embarrassingly (and @Magic Russ reminded me inadvertently), I already had something that does pretty much what I was after (with a bit of work): Stone Voice's Brandulator (http://stone-voices.ru/?lang=en).
  6. I have MFlanger and don't think it does it (obviously anyway). I'll take a look at Godfazer.
  7. Yep - I want to find a plug-in that does step flanger (not pedal/hardware).
  8. That's the sound, yeah.
  9. Many years ago, I had a little Zoom guitar FX unit (9000 I think), which while awful in most respects, had an interesting Step Flanger effect. Does anyone know of a plug-in that replicates this effect?

Love it - not enough 2 chord songs. And you can't go wrong with giant turtles!
  11. After a bit of feedback from various people (and some reluctance on my part to leave well-alone!), I think I'm pleased to say it's now finished! The same dropbox URL will get the mp3 (I haven't updated the YT video as I have to start from scratch with a new video entirely - I can see why YT don't allow changing a video, but it's a PITA).
  12. Apologies, but I can't help thinking of
  13. I'd also add Boz Digital Imperial Delay FreqEcho is also VST3.
  14. I missed some steps - sorry! 1 - Move dll from current location 2 - Run VST scan in CbB 3 - Wait a bit (NTFS caches 8.3 names), maybe reboot 4 - Move dll back to old location 5 - Run VST scan in CbB
  15. Default for non-system drives is off as of Windows 10 (I think). So that makes sense.
  16. Try moving the dll out of the folder, check its 8.3 state in the new folder, then move it back?
  17. An alternative might be to use Drum Replacer, and set the threshold so that only the loud 1st beat triggers the replacement, and then set the mix to 100%.
  18. Drag manually then have the "Last Touched" selected and the next ones will be the same length.
  19. Ah, Staff View. Do you not have the same option? It seems to work for me as I'd expect it to.
  20. In Piano Roll View, middle click mouse and select "Last Touched" from the drop-down:
